(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in ten provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Lu Bo, Ms. Fu Shujie, Ms. Gan Yonglian, and Ms. Mo Lijuan from the Wankecheng Neighborhood were arrested by a dozen officers from the Qingxiu District Police Department on March 22, 2020. Their homes were ransacked, and computers, Falun Dafa books, cellphones, cash, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

2. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Huiqin Detained

Ms. Li Huiqin from Baofeng County was arrested on March 26, 2020, for posting informational materials about the coronavirus outbreak. She is being held in criminal detention.

3. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Meihua and Ms. Huang Aihua Detained

Ms. Huang Aihua and Ms. Chen Meihua from Puning City were arrested by officers from the Xiajiashan Town Police Station on the afternoon of February 16, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Puning Detention Center

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiangli Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiangli, 60, from Weifang City, has been taking care of her grandson in her son's home in Nanjing City. She was arrested by officers from the Jiangbei District Police Station in Nanjing in late February, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Persecution Against Mr. Li Quanchen

Mr. Li Quanchen, 49, from Dandong City, was arrested by officers from Fengcheng Town Police Department in the fall of 2017, when he was riding his motorcycle to deliver Falun Gong fliers to Fengcheng. He was sentenced to three years in prison, and is incarcerated in Masanjia Prison in Shenyang City.

He was previously sentenced to seven years in 2003, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. His wife left him, and by the time he was released from prison his health had deteriorated, and he was very weak.

6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Jiang Zhaoying Arrested

Ms. Jiang Zhaoying was arrested on March 29, 2020. She has since been released.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yanyan Arrested

When Ms. Wang Yanyan from the Tongzhou District went to Dongyantou Village, Mulin Town, Shunyi District on an errand she was taken to the Shunyi Health and Epidemic Prevention Center for a physical exam. The police searched her, and confiscated Falun Gong fliers, and 8,500 yuan in cash which had Falun Gong messages on them. She was arrested, and her home ransacked.

8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Yuhua and Mr. Xu Jirong Arrested

Ms. Ma Yuhua and Mr. Xu Jirong were arrested by officers from the Yufengli Police Station in late March 2020, after someone reported them for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhang Peng, Mr. Wang Yuchao, Mr. Zang Jinda, and Mr. Ma Haipeng from Xianyang City were arrested when they were handing out Falun Gong fliers in Chunhua County.

10. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Li Yaping and Ms. Li Weiping Arrested

Ms. Li Yaping and Ms. Li Weiping were arrested at home by the head of Jinan District Domestic Security Division and officers from the Yuefeng Police Station on March 29, 2020.

Ms. Li Weiping’s non-practitioner husband was arrested at the same time. The officers ransacked their home, and confiscated computers, printers, cellphones, and other personal belongings.

11. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Zongsu Arrested

Ms. Zhang Zongsu was followed and arrested on March 20, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

12. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Tong Suqing’s Case Sent to Procuratorate

Ms. Tong Suqing, 76, was arrested by officers from the Shangmeilin Police Station in March 2020. Her case was sent to the Nanshan District Procuratorate.
