(Minghui.org) As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I am fully aware of the urgency of saving as many people as possible amid the CCP virus outbreak. In the process, I have also realized that more and more people are awakening and willing to break free from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I would like to share some experiences I had recently.
I live in a county in Hubei Province, which was locked down for over a month due to the virus outbreak. While under lockdown, we could not go out, and if we needed any groceries, we had to purchase them at the gate of the apartment complex from sellers standing outside the gate. I usually tried to talk to the sellers about Falun Dafa.
After we were allowed some movement starting in mid-March, I went to some stores and also made good use of the time to talk to store owners about Falun Dafa.
Sisters Quit the CCP's Affiliated Organizations
I was buying vegetables from a woman in her late 40s at the gate of the apartment complex and got into a conversation with her. She told me she was running a grocery store on the right side of the gate. I said I would visit her store when the lockdown was lifted.
In the middle of March, the lockdown was relaxed a bit and each household was allowed to let one person out once a day for grocery shopping.
One day, I took a few Dafa keepsakes with me and went to the woman's grocery store. She was very pleased to see me. Her little grandson and elder sister were also in the store.
I told them that it was my understanding that the disastrous epidemic occurred as karmic retribution because the CCP had done many bad things and killed many innocent people. I felt it was also a heavenly warning for people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to stand up for goodness and justice.
She and her elder sister both agreed and quit the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers.
“You are different because you have faith!”
I picked the vegetables I needed and went to pay at the counter. It cost 20 yuan and 50 cents.
“Don't worry about the 50 cents,” the woman said.
“That wouldn't be right. I will pay the full price,” I said to her.
She looked at me in surprise and did not know what to say.
“It’s not easy for you to make a living by running a small grocery store,” I explained.
She smiled and said to me, “Your words make me feel so good!”
Suddenly, she seemed to have enlightened to something and said, “Yes, that’s it. You are different, because you have faith!”
I told her that it was Falun Dafa that taught me to be kind and considerate. We’d rather suffer losses ourselves than let others bear the loss.
“Good people like you are hard to come by these days,” she said. “Everyone wants a bargain and tries to pay less. It’s really difficult for us to keep going sometimes.”
Kindhearted Grandpa
I saw an elderly man sitting outside the grocery store the next time I went there. The owner told me he was her father, already in his 80s.
He looked well and healthy, and his mind was still very sharp when I chatted with him.
I gave him a keepsake and said, “Grandpa, here is a very precious amulet for you. It can help you avoid danger during this terrible epidemic. Please keep reciting the two phrases on it–‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”
“Do you have any left?” he asked.
While I was trying to figure out what he meant, the store owner explained, “My father meant to ask if you’ll have any left for yourself if you give him the precious amulet.”
I was really touched by his kind thought.
“Don’t worry, grandpa. I have more of them. This one’s for you.”
He then asked me where he should keep such a precious gift. I told him that he could put it in the pocket of his jacket and treat it with respect.
“I think I will probably hang it around my neck,” he said sincerely.
My Neighbor's Son
I saw a man in his 40s in my apartment building while I was waiting for the elevator. I chatted with him and learned that he was the son of one of my neighbors. He told me he came back from Beijing to visit his mom before the Chinese New Year.
I had told his mom about Dafa before, so I asked him directly if he was a CCP member. He told me he had joined all three CCP organizations.
“Then you should quit them all,” I encouraged him. “The CCP has done so many evil things and will be held accountable for its crimes. Quitting it in your heart keep you from danger and help you stay safe.”
“Oh, you must be Falun Gong! Falun Gong is good. It's very good! It was Jiang Zemin who insisted on persecuting Falun Gong......”
He went on to tell me a lot of things he knew about Falun Gong. He said he would be very happy to quit the CCP organizations.
I gave him a keepsake and told him to keep reciting the two precious phrases on it. He was really pleased to receive it and very grateful for the conversation.
From my limited experiences recently, I can feel that more and more people are awakening to the truth and willingly distancing themselves from the CCP.
