(Minghui.org) One day, six fellow practitioners and I went to the Yellow Crane Tower to hang a banner stating “Falun Dafa Is Great.” By the time we arrived, many tourists were already there. I suggested we send forth righteous thoughts first. I collected myself and send a strong thought, “Let the tourists enter the tower.” Soon, the tourists entered the tower one after another. I immediately took out our two three-meter-long banners, and threw them into the trees. Both of them landed on the trees securely and upright, as if they had flown up.
The tourists soon came out. Looking at the banners with the large golden words “Falun Dafa Is Great,” many of them admired them and said, “How pretty!”
Righteous Thoughts and Actions Made Me Fearless
I went out one day before dawn and hung several banners on trees and light poles in my neighborhood. The banners stated, “Falun Dafa Is Great! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Great! Falun Dafa Is Righteous!” After I was done, I went for a walk in a nearby park. When I came back home with my groceries, I saw a big group of people blocking my door, including authorities and policemen from our residential area. They asked me, “Who hung up these banners?” I smiled calmly and said, “Wow! Whoever did it has done a great job! They look straight and upright.” They looked at me up and down. I looked untroubled and composed. They left without further questions.
Righteous Thoughts Freeze Policemen
One morning, I posted “Falun Dafa Is Great” sticky notes on light poles and public bulletin boards as I walked along the street. I accidentally posted the last note crooked, so I took it off and tried again, but I didn’t notice that a police car had stopped next to me. I heard a voice saying, “Hey!” I raised my head and saw four policemen glaring at me from the car. One of them yelled, “You are finished today!” I was startled. My heart started pounding.
A thought flashed in my mind, “I’m a Falun Dafa practitioner! I’m not afraid of you!” The policemen were suddenly frozen in their car. They simply couldn’t move. I quickly left and returned home safely.
Truth-Clarification Materials Trick Their Eyes
Our areas had a shortage of truth clarification materials at the beginning of the persecution. I volunteered to distribute the printouts. One day, I took two big bagfuls of truth-clarification materials to my village. When I was close to home I crossed paths with the Communist Party secretary in our community and other officials. They called out my name and asked, “What are you carrying? Open your bag and show us.” I replied calmly, “It’s just the food I bought.” They insisted that I open the bags. I opened one of the bags, unhurried. They poked their heads to look, and then left without a word.
Pond Turns Into a Road
A fellow practitioner couple were thrown into a brainwashing center in 2001 after they appealed for Falun Dafa in Beijing. Their daughter Xiao Hong begged me to take her to see her parents. I took her to the brainwashing center with some daily living supplies and Master Li’s (the founder) new scriptures.
The guard at the center refused to let us in or visit the couple. We waited at the door until past noon when most of the employees took their lunch breaks. Xiao Hong and I went around the back. I lifted Xiao Hong onto my shoulder. She passed the supplies and Master’s new scriptures to a fellow practitioner inside through the iron bars.
The practitioner who received Master’s new scriptures was so excited that her voice was heard by the guard on duty. Several jailers ran out of the building and blocked our way out.
Below the window was a large pond and a swamp. There was absolutely no way out. The jailer cried, “We've got you!” Xiao Hong started crying and asked me what to do. I tried to calm her down, even though I didn’t know how we could walk across the pond.
At this critical moment, a little boy suddenly appeared in front of us. I asked him how to get out. He didn’t say anything, but began to walk forward. Xiao Hong and I followed him. As we went forward, the pond changed into a smooth road. A woman walked towards us. I asked her for directions. Like the little boy, she didn’t say anything but walked on. We followed her to the end of the road. A bus drove up and stopped. Xiao Hong and I got on the bus and returned home safely.
