Ms. Nan Minmin, a 64-year-old retired accountant, was arrested on May 29, 2020 by officers from the Luohu Police Station. She was first held at the Luohu Detention Center, then transferred to the Shenzhen City No. 3 Detention Center.
Following a court hearing on March 25, 2021, she was transferred to the Yantian Detention Center. She was held in cell A19 and watched over by guard Qiu Hui, who didn’t allow her to do the Falun Gong exercises.

Prior to her latest persecution, Ms. Nan had twice been sentenced to five years, in 2001 and 2007, for practicing Falun Gong.
