(Minghui.org) The COVID-19 pandemic has lead to a death toll of over 2.5 million in the world (excluding China, where the actual number is unknown). Many people are hoping that vaccines will save them, but it would take years for everyone in the world to be vaccinated, and the virus keeps mutating. Is there a safe way out for humankind other than vaccines?

Many religions believe that the Creator will take care of man. As a human, we should not give up our hope under any circumstance.

A Chinese idiom says, “Heaven never bars a human’s way.” Many people take it as that as long as we humans have the willingness and determination, we will succeed in the end.

However, this view misses a critical point: For us human beings to be saved, we first need to align our will with the divine’s will. Otherwise, will the divine still bless us if we go against him?

A few Chinese stories showed how the divine handles disasters for humans.

A Monk’s Sincere Prayer Saved His Family

An ancient Chinese book has a story in the year 1196 (during the Song Dynasty): Everyone in a rich family in Southeast China was suddenly sick. Two sons died, one after another. Several servants died. The father and mother were bedridden. Neighbors who visited them or brought food for them also got sick and died. As a result, even their closest relatives did not dare to come anymore.

The family had another son who was a monk. After hearing about the tragedy, he invited other monks in the temple to chant Buddhist scriptures to the family. The 20-year-old monk himself, when walking home, bowed to Buddha on every step he took.

The demonic fog was cleared when the monk arrived at home. After he sat down in the middle of the house, a gigantic snake came out of the sick parents’ room. Other monks were scared. They sat in meditation and started chatting Buddhist scriptures. After they finished chanting, the snake knocked its head against the door frame a few dozen times and died.

The family recovered immediately.

Punishment for Destroying Buddha Statue

Another ancient book recorded a story about how a family was punished for destroying a Buddha statue.

An incense store in Southeast China bought a Bodhisattva Guanyin statue made with sandalwood. The store owner’s family discussed among themselves a plan to smash the statue to make sandalwood incense, which they could sell for a lot of money.

A contractor heard about it and asked them not to do it.

The owner’s son-in-law scolded him, “You are just a contractor. Just follow the order.”

The next day, a six-year-old child walked past the store with his dad. The child asked, “Why is that house locked with red seals?”

Not seeing anything, the father ignored his son’s question.

The incense store caught fire that night. All of the family members died. Surprisingly, the fire only burnt that house and didn’t cross over to the neighbors'.

The son-in-law attempted to escape from the upper floor window, but something blocked him, so he died. The contractor who tried to stop them was invited to temporarily help out at another incense store that morning and thus stayed safe.

Why Did the Divine Let Humans Face the COVID-19 Virus?

These stories told us that the divine would help people who respect the divine and punish those who do the opposite. One can further realize that, as humans, if we align our wills with the divine’s will, the divine will take care of us. If we do the opposite, the divine will ignore us or even punish us.

Traditional Chinese history has long believed that pandemics are a way that Heaven punishes humans for their wrongdoing. Emperors who repent their own mistakes can help end the disasters in their countries.

When the Black Death was prevalent in the Middle Ages, King Edward III of England gave orders to the bishops that the plague was a punishment from God and that people should repent devoutly.

The COVID-19 pandemic that started in Wuhan, China is a warning and divine wrath towards the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP has committed many crimes and caused 80 million deaths of Chinese since it took power in 1949.

Its worst crime is the persecution of Falun Gong.

Falun Gong is a Buddhist cultivation method, with the goal of leading humanity to elevate spiritually and go to the divine world through cultivation. Introduced to the public in 1992, it had attracted 100 million practitioners in seven years. The miraculous stories of its healing illnesses and improving morality were widely spread in China.

Qiao Shi, then Chairman of China’s National People’s Congress, organized a nationwide survey and concluded in the report that “Falun Gong is beneficial to the country and the people without any harm.”

However, then CCP head Jiang Zemin, jealous of Falun Gong's popularity, launched a persecution campaign against the practice in July 1999. Jiang issued the order to “ruin Falun Gong practitioners' reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.”

The persecution against Falun Gong practitioners has been going on for 21 years.

The CCP also carried out live organ harvesting against Falun Gong practitioners to sell their organs. This live organ harvesting crime is a large-scale, nationwide operation backed by the military and police.

For such an unprecedented crime against humanity, how can the divine not show its wrath?

One may wonder why the rest of the world also suffered from the pandemic greatly. Let’s ask a question: Did the world act in a way that was following or going against the divine’s will? In other words, hasn’t the rest of the world tolerated the CCP’s genocide and crimes against humanity in the past, supported the CCP financially or in other forms, and allowed ideology and norms that deviate from Heaven to spread in their lands?

Hope for Humanity

The divine has left a way out for humanity: cut ties with the CCP.

Falun Gong, the main target suffering the CCP’s persecution, offers a way with its cultivation power behind it. That is to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” (Note: Falun Gong is also called Falun Dafa; Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are its three principles.)

A Minghui article explained the power behind this magical phrase. Other stories reported how people who contracted the COVID-19 virus had their diseases cured after reciting the phrase. In a family in Wuhan, three relatives of a practitioner were saved by reciting the auspicious phrases, but the uncle, who did not hear the phrase, passed away.

In another Minghui article, a woman who doesn’t practice Falun Gong told a practitioner that her entire family had quit the CCP. She commented that because many people in her area had quit the CCP, they were not struck by disasters like the neighboring areas were. She was confident that they had been blessed.

During the plague, the divine has left a way out for human beings. Following the divine’s will, staying away from the CCP, and stopping the persecution of Falun Gong and other religious practitioners is the safe way to go.
