(Minghui.org) My great aunt brings out the goodness in people when she clarifies the truth about Dafa to them. Even police officers protect her
“You are a good man”
In 2019, a man reported my 83-year-old great aunt to the police when she was distributing Falun Dafa brochures and putting up small labels in a residential subdivision.
A patrol car stopped beside her, and a policeman got out and asked the man if my aunt was the person he’d reported. The man confirmed she was, so the policeman asked her what she was up to.
“I didn’t do anything wrong,” she said and patted her heart as if she was making a vow. “I have never done anything bad. I’ve been responsible to everyone, the police included.”
The police officer patted his heart, too, and said that he had not done anything bad, either. So, my aunt told him that he was a good man. The policeman smiled and drove away.
A Policeman Protects a Practitioner
My great aunt talked to a young woman about Falun Dafa in 2020 and told her that Falun Dafa asks people to live by Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
The woman grabbed her and yelled, “You are against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)!” It looked like she was going to report my great aunt to the police.
A police officer dashed out of a nearby store and asked the young woman, “An 80-year-old woman tells you Falun Dafa is good—how is it ‘against the Party?’ Look at those corrupt high-ranking Party officials—aren’t they against the Party?”
The woman was shocked and walked away defeated. My aunt left immediately but regretted later that she had not thanked the policeman for speaking up for her.
A little later, she went back to the vegetable market to distribute Dafa informational brochures. A man in plainclothes asked for a brochure. He then said, “Don’t you remember me? When that woman grabbed you, it was I who rescued you.”
My aunt was very happy and said, “Thank you, young man! God and Buddha judge people by their hearts. You helped a Falun Dafa practitioner, you will be blessed.”
