(Minghui.org) Ye Lei, a college teacher and mental health counselor, decided to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations recently.
“When I was young, I was deceived by the sweet words of the Chinese Communist Party and worshiped the communist spirits—I wasn’t ashamed of them, I was proud of them. A student came to talk to me and said that his family was in financial difficulties and he wanted to drop out of school. When I pressed further, he told me that his father had been arrested because he criticized the government. To bribe the authorities, his family spent all their savings. He did not pass the 'political background check' and wasn’t qualified to receive a scholarship, so he was unable to afford the tuition and fees,” Ye said in a public statement on the Global Tuidang (Quitting the Party) website.
“After I heard his story, I was ashamed of my Party membership. I hereby declare my resignation from the Communist Party of China and its affiliated organizations and atone for my sins.”
Similar to Ye, many Chinese used to believe the CCP’s propaganda that promoted itself as being “great, glory, righteous.” They were proud to be Party members. Only after they saw, heard, and experienced the brutality of the CCP personally did they realize that they had been deceived all along and choose to quit the Party and stop being associated with it.
Here is what some of these people had to say in their heartfelt statements on the Tuidang (Quit the Party) website.
“Expose this Act of Genocide”
Xiaochuan from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, wrote on March 7, 2020: “I am Xiaochuan (a pseudonym), a cadre in the Sichuan Province Health Bureau. At work I recently overheard a secret conversation between leaders. To maintain control indefinitely, high-level CCP officials are preparing to harvest a batch of human organs for transplant in high-level officials. In fact, there are only a handful of people infected with Covid-19 in the province, but the ‘treatment’ is actually an opportunity for the CCP to collect healthy organs. The leaders also stressed the need for the province to confirm over 1,000 ‘cases’ in order to meet their ‘quota’ of 200 organs.
“I am a CCP official, and I was shocked when I heard this. I now understand just how evil the CCP really is. My elderly mother has been diagnosed with Covid-19 and is now trapped in the hospital for ‘treatment’ and not allowed to leave. I am so sorry. I want to quit the CCP and use this opportunity to expose this genocidal act.”
“Only Today Do I Dare to Tell the Truth about June 4”
Hu Shuyue from Liaoning Province witnessed the June 4th massacre in 1989. In his statement to quit the CCP and its organizations on January 8, 2020, he revealed that he was in the army in Beijing during the massacre and saw firsthand what the Chinese Communist Army did to the students. What he witnessed was only the tip of the iceberg.
“After the army crushed the demonstrating students who refused to leave Tiananmen Square with their tanks, the ground was full of corpses and their belongings. The soldiers used trucks to cart away their belongings and helicopters to transport the remains. Then, dozens of fire trucks came to wash the blood off Tiananmen Square, and the authorities forbid anyone from telling the truth. Under military law, anyone who talked would be severely punished (made ‘silent’ or ‘disappeared’),” he said.
“Now that I have been retired from the military for decades, I dare to speak a little bit of truth to Falun Gong practitioners today. I believe what a Falun Gong practitioner has told me about the persecution of her faith and I took her advice to quit the CCP and its organizations. May the Divine bless our lives with peace, fortune, and safety in times of trouble.”
“Stunned by What I Saw at the Village Committee Chairman's House”
On March 13, 2021, Quan Xiaojun from southern Guangxi Province, wrote: “I always believed that the Communist Party of China would lead us to be rich and strong, so that China would no longer be bullied by foreigners. With that in mind, I joined the Party, expecting to do my part to make China rich and strong.
“But recently, the chairman of the village committee called me to his house for a meeting. I had thought that, under the leadership of the Party, all its members would be honest and upright, but when I opened the door of the chairman's house, I was stunned by the sight before me! The room was lavishly appointed, and there were several young girls dressed only in lingerie surrounding the chairman and making explicit remarks. When the chairman saw me, he even asked one of the girls to ‘serve’ me, but I refused.
“I was very disappointed with the chairman. I told my friends who had joined the Party about this, and they all told me they’d had similar experiences. After hearing that, I lost my confidence in the Party and was ashamed of how it has deceived people. I’ve learned a lot about the dark history of the Party. I now choose to quit the Party and get my life back on track. I hope my experience will convince more people to recognize the evil nature of the CCP.”
“I Don't Want to Take the Blame for the Organization”
Wang Tianzhen, who wrote a statement to quit the CCP and its organizations on March 9, 2020, said: “I am a healthcare worker. I joined the Communist Party after graduating, solely to find a job. Because of my Party membership and family ties, I found an ideal job. After I’d been working for one year, I noticed the fierce personal struggles at work. The leadership kept talking about Party principles but abused and persecuted their subordinates at will.
“Two of my classmates worked in the same system and were also Party members. Their supervisors abused their power, took bribes, and had them take the blame when things went wrong. Both of my classmates ended up in prison.
“I have witnessed the Party being responsible for too many underhanded acts over many years. I hereby declare my withdrawal from the Communist Party of China and henceforth sever my ties to this rogue organization. I don't want to become a sacrificial lamb or end up in an urn. I don't want to take the blame for the organization. I don't want to go to prison for them and I don't want to fight all day long for a living. I hope for a new China without the Party soon.”
“My Best Friend Was Humiliated by a Party Official”
On October 16, 2020, a 24-year-old student surnamed Tian wrote in his statement to quit the CCP: “I had a good friend who was a soccer player. He was humiliated by being stripped naked and forced to bark like a dog because he ran into a Party cadre’s fancy car. I knew many people who were persecuted. Our family was also persecuted and lost 1,910,000 yuan as a result. I declare I am quitting the Party today.”
“They Are Just Rogue Liars”
Liu Xin said in his statement to quit the Party on December 17, 2020: “When I was young I worked as the village secretary for many years, and I pretty much worked for the Party all my life. I am now old and in poor health and am no longer able to work.
“Last year, the village and town cadres all came to me and asked me to take the lead in demolishing my house. The government wanted to renovate the dilapidated house and promised to build me a new one. The house is now gone, but no one came to build me another one, and nobody will take responsibility. I do not even have a place to live. Now I see through the evil Party—they are rogue liars. I want to quit the evil Party and not be associated with it anymore.”
The Cry of the Workers
On December 19, 2020, Xiao En from Anhui said that when he grew up in a rural area, village cadres embezzled the subsidies of low-income families and used public funds for personal gain.
“Since I was a child, I was puzzled by this unfair world, and when I was in elementary school, I was forced to join the Young Pioneers. The teacher encouraged me many times to join the Youth League and even threatened me that, if I did not apply, I would lose the awards I’d earned. I did not agree with the brainwashing-type of educational methods used by the CCP and dropped out of junior high school.
“Because of my low level of education, I mainly do manual labor. One boss did not pay me so I called the police, the hot-line for the mayor, and the labor bureau, but nobody paid attention to me. When I asked my boss to pay me, he used his connections to put me in police custody for a day. After I got out, I was deeply resentful of the injustice. This corrupt government of the CCP is soaking up every drop of blood of the common people. The CCP’s labor law is just a joke! The Chinese people should wake up!”
After the Loss of a Child
In March 2020, Qiao did the “Three Withdrawals” [withdrawing from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers] both for him and his deceased child. He said that, even in elementary school, he’d thought the political lessons were strange. When he was in junior high, the “Tiananmen Massacre” took place and he learned of the CCP’s systematic lies. Ever since he finished high school and went to work, he has been very disgusted with the CCP.
“Last year, my 8-year-old child had an accident in the public school. None of the teachers, the school nurse, or school management cadres saved him. The nurse was unlicensed and knew nothing [about nursing]. The school collectively ignored life and shirked its responsibility. I eventually lost my dear child. I want to quit the Young Pioneers and the Youth League for myself, and for my dead child, I want to quit the evil Young Pioneers who tried to brainwash him and ignored his life!”
“Labeled ‘Troublemakers’”
Bang. Z. Yu from Guangdong wrote in his statement to quit the Party on March 20, 2021: “I was brainwashed by the Chinese Communist Party as a child and thought that joining the Youth League and the Party would be glorious. When I was in college, I couldn't circumvent the internet firewall and had access to limited information, so I joined the Party.
“After graduating, I was transferred to my village, where I saw the true face of the CCP. The so-called 'elections' are basically internal appointments. The Party is not ashamed to say that it accepts that people need to be supervised, but as soon as the people exercise their right to supervise the leader, they are labeled ‘troublemakers.’”
“Targeted by the Secret Police”
On April 8, 2020, Xu Jie from Tianjin said that when he was young and studying physics at one of China's universities, he was targeted by the secret police for helping a friend speak out about some falsified reports. The authorities retaliated and he was unable to get a teaching license. He was reduced to doing extracurricular tutoring without a license to earn a meager living.
In 2019, because of dissatisfaction with society, he paid a tribute to the victims of the Tiananmen Square massacre. The communist internet army labeled him a “reactionary” and he was attacked by foul language on the internet.
Seeing how the Wuhan virus has wreaked havoc in China over the past months, causing countless people to suffer, and aware that the Party is still concealing information to deceive people, he decided to stand up and draw a clear line to separate himself from this evil Party.
“You Can Join the Party after Paying 850 Yuan”
Wu Dawei made a statement on June 22, 2020, to quit the CCP. He said that when he was in the army in the 1990s, the company instructor once privately informed him he could easily join the Party by paying 850 yuan. Wu was shocked and asked his father what to do. His father told him, “Do not ever join the Communist Party.” But when he retired from the army, he was listed as a member of the Youth League without his knowledge.
“My Son Was Interrogated after Visiting an Overseas Website”
On November 18, 2020, Mr. Yao from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, said in his statement to quit the CCP: “I am an old Party member and am approaching retirement age. I participated in the so-called self-defense counterattack against Vietnam, served in the artillery unit, and now work in a public institution. Today I feel that I can no longer delay and I must quit the Party!
“This Party is becoming more and more dictatorial. Economically, the country is advancing, but the people are retreating. It is worse than before. My son was interrogated by State Security because he circumvented the internet censorship and visited an overseas website. It terrified our whole family. It was fortunate that they did not have any evidence to prosecute him.”
