(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021 is the 70th birthday of Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, and coincides with the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 22nd “World Falun Dafa Day.”

Like practitioners world-wide, Falun Dafa practitioners in South Korea hold celebrations every year to honor the spiritual practice and its founder. Local governments have restricted large gatherings to lessen the spread of the CCP virus (coronavirus).

Some practitioners fall within the scope of the pandemic prevention regulations permitted by the local government, however, and practiced the exercises at Boramae Park at 10 a.m. on May 9, 2021. They demonstrated the five sets of exercises and thanked Master. They also wished Master Happy Birthday.

Practitioners in southern South Korea do the Falun Dafa exercises to celebrate Master’s birthday as well as World Falun Dafa Day.

Since the site in Boramae Park was set up two years ago, practitioners have continued to do the morning exercises there, regardless of wind, rain, or severe winter or summer weather. With World Falun Dafa Day approaching, practitioners reflected on their cultivation journeys and said that they would practice more diligently, clarify the truth to more people, and not disappoint Master’s compassionate salvation.

What is Falun Dafa?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people have embraced the teachings—which are based on the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance”—and experienced uplifted health and well-being.
