(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021 is the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day. Six cities in Illinois, including Peoria, Champaign, Wheaton, Joilet, Evanston, and Bolingbrook, issued proclamations to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
Proclamation from Mayor Jim Ardis of the City of Peoria, to recognize May 10-16, 2021 as Falun Dafa week.
The proclamation reads, “Falun Dafa was introduced to Peoria in 2003. Since then, volunteers have held several free workshops, seminars, and group exercises in places including Northtrail Park and at community events like Ignite Peoria and the Pekin Marigold Festival. Today we join 1000 other local governments across North America, and more than 40 cities and countries in Illinois to acknowledge the practice of Falun Dafa.”
