Falun Dafa, a meditation system based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, has been suppressed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) since 1999. While practitioners in mainland China have been subjected to arrests, torture, or imprisonment for upholding their faith and exposing the CCP’s brutality, their counterparts in Hong Kong have also worked hard to raise awareness of the suppression and call to stop the atrocity.
With Lion Rock – a mountain in Hong Kong that represents its spirit – in the background, this painting highlights practitioners’ courage and perseverance during the harsh persecution. Over the years, one practitioner in Hong Kong has helped over 570,000 people, including tourists, to quit the CCP and its junior organizations for a better future.
In the painting, banners next to the group meditation read “Falun Dafa” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
Sails of the boats bear the phrases of “Falun Dafa is good” and “Celebrating May 13 World Falun Dafa Day.”
They show practitioners’ deep gratitude to Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, for his compassionate salvation.
