(Minghui.org) Ammersee is the sixth largest lake in Germany. It is located southwest of Munich. As the lake scenery displays a serene beauty, the lake is a good place for touring and taking walks. On April 23, 2021, the small town, Herrsching am Ammersee, was in full spring, bathed in bright sunlight. A group of people who were quietly doing meditative exercises to a peaceful tune attracted the interest of many passersby.
This is the first time that Falun Dafa practitioners held an information day event at Herrsching am Ammersee. The feedback from the German residents was very good. According to local practitioner Bernharg, there were already many people interested in learning Falun Gong. Some arranged a time and venue to hold an exercise class.

Practitioners demonstrating the exercises
Besides demonstrating the Falun Dafa exercises, the practitioners also set up display boards to let people know about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of the practitioners in China.
After hearing about Falun Dafa from a practitioner, a German couple signed the petition to help stop the CCP’s atrocities. The husband said, “This kind of thing – the CCP carrying out forced organ harvesting on living Falun Gong practitioners should be stopped. Every German should sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution.”
After signing the petition, a Chinese man said that he really hated the CCP for doing so many evil deeds. He hoped that the CCP would meet its downfall as soon as possible so that the Chinese people can live normal lives.
Another man who signed the petition said that many years ago he went to the Munich Westpark to learn the exercises. He knew of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa. A practitioner gave him a small lotus flower souvenir with the words Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance written on it, and told him that the lotus flower maintains its purity despite growing in the mud. To encourage the practitioners, the man said, “Where there is mud, the sacred purity of the lotus flower will stand out.”
