1. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Hu Ronghua Sentenced

Seventy-three-year-old Ms. Hu Ronghua lives alone. She was arrested at home by a team of officers from the Guanyinshan Police Station in early 2021. They imprisoned her in the Nantong Detention Center without giving a reason or following legal procedure. She was deprived of her pension, which was her only income. She was recently sentenced to 18 months in prison.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Guizhi Sentenced

Ms. Song Guizhi, 78, was arrested at home by officers from the Sujiatun District Domestic Security Division on April 26, 2021. She has been held at the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center. The Yuhong District Court recently sentenced her to a year in prison and fined her 5,000 yuan.

3. [Beijing] Six Practitioners Held in Undisclosed Location

Six practitioners in the Yanqing District, Ms. Wu Fangling, Ms. Yang Jinxia, Mr. Han Shimin, Mr. Liu Jun, Ms. Song Mizhi, and Mr. Guo Jinshan, were arrested by the Yanqing District police on June 27, 2021. They are being held in an undisclosed location.

4. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Yi Detained

Mr. Liu Yi was arrested on February 28, 2021. He was formally arrested and is being held at the Shijingshan District Detention Center.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Guiying’s Family Harassed

Officers from the Ciyutuo Town Police Station, Luanzhou City, jumped over the wall into Ms. Li Guiying’s courtyard from her neighbor’s home around 6:00 p.m. on July 7, 2021. She was not at home. But her child was home and was terrified.

The officers returned around 5:00 a.m. on July 8. They brought a ladder and climbed up to her roof. When they tried to jump down into her courtyard, her neighbor saw them, shouted that they were intruding on private property, and stopped them.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ding Deshun Faces Indictment

Mr. Ding Deshun is set to be indicted by the Changqing District Procuratorate.

7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Xinna and Mr. Jiang Zhisheng Harassed

Ms. Jiang Xinna was harassed at home by two officers from the Lidao Town Police Station on June 18, 2021. They asked if she still practiced Falun Gong and demanded she hand over her Falun Gong-related materials. They checked around her home, photographed her, and obtained her phone number.

Mr. Jiang Zhisheng was harassed at home by three officers on June 20, 2021. They seized his Falun Gong books, copies of Minghui Weekly, keepsakes, Falun Gong calendars, a notebook, and other items. When he asked them for the list of seized properties, they refused to give it to him.

8. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Luan Yicai Harassed

Mr. Luan Yicai is a teacher in Laiwu No. 17 Middle School. He was harassed at work on the morning of July 12, 2021, by agents from the Laiwu District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and officers from the Laiwu District Domestic Security Division. They tried to force him to “cooperate” in their “zero-out” campaign. He refused. They demanded his phone number, ordered him to attend a brainwashing session, and said he would be notified of the schedule by phone.

9. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Jinhui Harassed

Ms. Sun Jinhui, 46, was harassed at home by officers from the Gaoxin District Domestic Security Division, including deputy head Wang Xiansheng, after 1:00 p.m. on July 9, 2021. They took her to the Feicheng City Court. She was subjected to a body search and ordered to sign an indictment. She refused. She was released at 4:30 p.m.

10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Qing’s Daughter Harassed

Ms. Li Qing’s daughter received a harassing call from officer Zheng Xiangfu from the Yilaxi Police Station and the secretary of the Jiangnan Township government on June 23, 2021. They asked if Ms. Li still practiced Falun Gong and said she had to sign documents renouncing Falun Gong or she would be arrested.

11. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] 14 Practitioners in The Chancheng District Harassed

At the beginning of 2021, officers from police stations and clerks from communities in the Chancheng District were given orders by the 610 Office to harass practitioners in their jurisdiction.According to incomplete statistics, 14 practitioners were harassed.

They are Ms. Hu Meijuan, Ms. Pan Juxiang, Ms. Li Lina, Ms. Zhou Cailing, Ms. Tan Lian, Su Si (gender unknown), Ms. Huang Ruizhu, Ms. Yu Ruixian, Ms. Huo Shaoping, Ms. Jian Runling, Ms. Deng Caijuan, Jie Liyin (gender unknown), Ms. Liang Lianhua, and Ms. Zhou Shaoying. Ms. Zhou Shaoying passed away after being harassed. Ms. Huang Ruizhu was arrested on June 30 and was released. Ms. Tan Lian is under house arrest.

12. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shang Weifeng Detained

Mr. Shang Weifeng was stalked by Qin Ligang and others from the Laiwu 610 Office on June 25, 2021. They followed him to his apartment, ransacked the place, and seized his practitioner roommate’s computer, printer, paper cutter, and other items. They held Mr. Shang in a detention center for over 10 days.

13. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Hanmin Harassed

Mr. Liu Hanmin was harassed at home by the director of the Huangtu Town Police Station, secretary Liu of the Huangtu Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee, CCP secretary Long Caihua of his brigade, and others on July 12, 2021. They photographed Mr. Liu, registered his identity card, and ordered him not to distribute Falun Gong flyers or contact anyone.

14. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zeng Zhaoyue, Ms. Huo Fengqin, Ms. Yang Fengying, Zhang Yuehong (gender unknown), Jiang Chunhua (gender unknown), and Ms. Chen Xia were arrested in Mr. Zeng’s home by people from the Liaocheng 610 Office, the Liuyuan Police Station, and Domestic Security Division on June 23, 2021. Gu Xuepeng of the Liaocheng Political and Legal Affairs Committee led the group.

The practitioners were taken to the Liuyuan Police Station. They were ordered to fill out forms and sign them. They did not comply. Their blood samples and fingerprints were taken against their will. At night, they were held in a room and watched by four female community clerks and two male officers. They were not allowed to move around or talk to each other. They managed to walk out of the police station the next morning.

15. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Kangning Detained

Ms. Li Kangning was arrested at home by officers from the Xuefujie Police Station and clerks from her community on April 24, 2021. She was taken to the police station and forced to undergo an electrocardiogram, B-mode ultrasound, urinary exam, blood test, and nuclear magnetic resonance scan. She was not allowed to talk to her family.

The officers searched her office and home, seized her Falun Gong books and related items. They charged her with “undermining law enforcement.” She was detained for seven days in the Nankai District Detention Center and another seven days in the Tianjin City Detention Center. Her husband nearly committed suicide while she was detained.

After she was released on May 7, neighborhood officer Wu Jinli repeatedly made harassing calls to her and her husband. He tried to force them to move out of the neighborhood so he could claim it as his achievement on his performance sheet.

16. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Tiansheng and His Wife Harassed

Mr. Liu Tiansheng of Xiafei Town, Tieling City lived with his wife in their son’s home in Shenyang City. The Xiafei Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee secretary Yu Guozhe and the Xiafei Town Department of People’s Armed Forces director Wang Kedong traveled to Shenyang and tried to force them to write “three statements” renouncing Falun Gong as part of CCP’s “zero-out campaign” against practitioners.

17. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Mr. Shang Dejun Released and Ms. Wang Shuzhen Detained

Mr. Shang Dejun was released, but his wife, Ms. Wang Shuzhen, is still being held in the detention center.

18. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Lintong Harassed

On July 9, 2021, unidentified officers tried to deceive Ms. Wang Lintong’s mother into having Ms. Wang send her photo, height, and weight to her mother, who would forward them to police.

19. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Xiuhua and Her Family Harassed

Ms. Wang Xiuhua was harassed at home by clerks from her community on May 24, 2021. They ordered her not to leave home. She refused.

Her husband received a harassing call from the community secretary on the afternoon of May 31. Clerks followed and photographed her and her husband in the community courtyard when they walked home.

Director Da of the street office walked her to the office from her home at 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2021. Wu, secretary of the Qilihe District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and others were waiting for her. They slandered Falun Gong and its founder and played audio and video repeating the slander. She refused to look or listen, and walked towards the door, but she was pushed back by officers Li Gang and Wang from the Tumentun Police Station.

The next day, clerks from the community came to harass her. First they knocked on her door, and then they pounded on it.

On June 3, she and her husband were forcibly taken to the street office by three officers from the Tumentun Police Station. Qilihe District Political and Legal Affairs Committee secretary Wu, Qilihe District Domestic Security Division head Song, and street office director Da were waiting there. They ordered her to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong. She refused.

20. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Kao Fuquan Harassed

Mr. Kao Fuquan was harassed at home by village head Kao Mingjie, Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Center deputy director Xu Jianzheng, and three others on July 6, 2021. They ransacked his home and took down a Falun Gong calendar from the wall and several calligraphy decorations from his door.

The four of them returned at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon and ordered Mr. Kao to sign a document renouncing Falun Gong. He refused.

21. [Huiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. He Pinghua and Ms. Yao Qiuyuan Arrested

Ms. He Pinghua and Ms. Yao Qiuyuan were arrested by officers from their local police stations on June 17, 2021. They were taken to the Yunyan Police Department for interrogation and released the next day.
