(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in the beautiful village of Saint-Adrien, Quebec, on July 31, 2021, to introduce the traditional cultivation practice and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people expressed their support for practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution and signed postcards and a petition calling for an end to the CCP’s human rights atrocities.
Practitioners who live in Saint-Adrien introduce Falun Gong at a local market every Saturday. On July 31, practitioners from the surrounding areas also joined in. Their group exercises and the tranquil exercise music fascinated many people at the market.

Antoine Dolé, a professional chef, said Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are beautiful values. The problem is that the CCP will not tolerate any ideas that differ from its own. Antoine said he appreciates Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to expose the CCP’s torture methods and the killing of prisoners of conscience.
David Goudreault, a novelist, poet, columnist, social worker, and actor, signed a postcard calling for an end to the persecution.
Suzie Hamel, president of Tryskell communications, signed the petition and said it was important to let more people know about this outrageous persecution.
Ludovik from Gatineau believes that raising awareness of the persecution will bring about change and stop the persecution.
Locals Emmanuel, Maude, and their daughter Enola all practice Falun Gong. Emmanuel said that Falun Dafa has allowed him to understand the meaning of life and helped him take the right path in his life. He and his family promote the principles of Falun Dafa and collect signatures in the market every Saturday. Nine-year-old Enola teaches people how to fold paper lotus flowers.
