(Minghui.org) A Qixia City, Shandong Province resident was recently harassed for her faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Sun Yubin was asked by her village director to go to the Shewobo Town Police Station one morning in June 2021. Suspecting that the authorities were trying to force her to give up practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Sun refused to go.
In the afternoon, the police and several local government officials came to Ms. Sun’s home. Upon finding out that Ms. Sun wasn’t around, the police tried to intimidate her neighbors and force them to reveal information on where to find her.
The police found themselves unwelcomed by the neighbors, who condemned the police for persecuting Falun Gong. Seeing that they couldn’t get any information from her neighbors, the police left dejected.
Ms. Sun began to practice Falun Gong after the persecution started. She used to have pain all over her body and often fell while walking. Practicing Falun Gong energized her and she became healthy again. Many villagers witnessed her changes and were amazed by it.
In the small village where the neighbors have a strong sense of community, they know that Ms. Sun strives to be a good person by following Falun Gong’s principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” and they said they support her in continuing to practice her faith.
