(Minghui.org) After years of persistent effort by Falun Dafa practitioners to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of their faith, many people have come to understand the illegality of the persecution and now support Falun Dafa. Some sincerely recite the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and have received blessings.
On July 20, 2021, the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province was hit by an unprecedented flood that swept across the city. Water filled up subway stations and the Jingguang Road Tunnel. Trains and cars were swallowed by the flood. When the devastating flood receded, what was left were row after row of damaged cars, with perished drivers still inside.
Six days after the flood, my relative in Zhengzhou called me. She excitedly thanked me for telling her about Falun Dafa and said that Dafa saved her life twice in just a few short days!
My relative said she originally had an appointment with the Civil Affairs Agency to process some paperwork on July 19, but the agency postponed the appointment and asked her to come a day later.
At around 1 p.m. the next day, it had already started raining. My relative went out. She happened to see her sister-in-law, who was able to give her a ride. Thus, she didn’t take the subway, even though the subway station was only a ten-minute walk from where she lived. If she had taken the subway, she doesn’t know if she would have been trapped inside or even come out alive.
She also told me that her neighbor tested positive for the coronavirus. Many people who had close contact with her were also infected. She happened to be with the neighbor for some time a few days ago, but neither she nor her family members caught the virus.
She said to me, “I believe Dafa is good. I am so grateful for Dafa’s Master’s protection [referring to Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa]. I feel safe and secure with Dafa’s blessing in times of danger.”
