(Minghui.org) World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, 2023, will be here soon. This is a special year because Master just published “How Humankind Came To Be,” indicating that the Fa will soon begin rectifying the human world. Time is precious, because it is always darkest before the dawn.
On this special occasion that encompasses the universe, we Dafa disciples can participate by presenting our sincerest gratitude to Master and sending our well wishes to everyone in the world.
As soon as the Minghui Editorial Board published “Call for Submission to Commemorate World Falun Dafa Day 2023,” some practitioners started to write. Some, however, are waiting and some are unwilling to participate for various reasons. I think this is a reflection of our cultivation state.
One article on Minghui talked about why we should cherish this opportunity. Titled “Taipei, Taiwan: An Auspicious Day for a Character Formation Event,” the article said, in part:
“On the night before the character formation, a tortoise climbed up to Liberty Square and appeared in the preparation tent set up for the event. In traditional Chinese culture, the tortoise is a symbol of longevity. Looking at this unexpected guest, I was both surprised and happy.
“Liberty Square is a major site for public gatherings and one of the most visited sites in the region by tourists. Curious about why this tortoise would come at this moment, I communicated with it through the supernormal ability of telepathy. It said it had reincarnated for 700 or 800 years for this opportunity. After an arduous effort, it made it here to attend Mr. Li’s 70th birthday celebration. The tortoise was happy and excited because it knew that after its participation in the event, it would become a human being in its next reincarnation and would be able to practice Falun Dafa then.”
Minghui is a website for practitioners and it has played a critical role for us to improve as one body. Every experience-sharing article is important to validate the Fa. As a practitioner, supporting this event and contributing by writing an article is also our responsibility.
May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day. It is also Master Li’s birthday. As practitioners, we have benefited so much from Falun Dafa. Writing about our improvements and understandings is a great way for us to express our thankfulness to Master. During this process, we can also review the journey we have walked and the Fa principles we have been enlightened to. This may help us overcome more challenges, help other practitioners to overcome difficulties, or inspire non-practitioners to return to traditional values and break away from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime.
By looking at this event as a cultivation opportunity, we will be able to let go of human notions and various excuses. At the final stage of the Fa-Rectification Period, let us make the best use of the time and opportunities. By walking every step well, we will be able to fulfill our mission and return to our heavenly homes with Master.
