(Minghui.org) The day before the 2022 Chinese New Year, I cut my hand badly at a farmers market when I was distributing truth clarification brochures and putting up stickers.
At the time, I only thought it was interference from the old forces and sent righteous thoughts to eliminate it. But I didn’t enlighten to the fact that this was actually a hint from Master Li alerting me to danger.
I was arrested 15 days later. The police used the excuse that they had not yet closed my “case” from several years before when I was illegally arrested and held in a detention center for over 40 days.
When I was arrested this time, I held only one thought: “I do not acknowledge any arrangements by the old forces and will only follow the path arranged by Master.” During the three days and two nights I was detained at the police station, I met several people who were arrested for breaking the law. The first day, I met a young man who was in for stealing.
The officers interrogated him to try to find his accomplices, but he denied he had any. Then the officers said to me, “Please talk some sense into him.”
That night, I explained the truth about the persecution of Dafa to him, told him how to be a good person, persuaded him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates, and taught him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I twice recited “On Dafa” out loud to him. The next morning, the officers asked me how things were going.
I told them, “He just committed a violation and didn’t have any accomplices.” They then took him away. After a while, he greeted me at the door with his palms respectfully pressed together in front of his chest (heshi) and said, “Thank you, thank you. I am going home now.”
The next day, I met some people who’d been arrested for fighting. I clarified the truth to one of them, a woman, and explained the principle of “no loss no gain.” I encouraged everyone to apologize to each other and get the case settled. Then I had to leave the room.
Before I left, they were all angry and refused to talk to each other. When I returned, they were talking to each other amicably. The woman said to me, “Ma’am, we reconciled.” I felt so happy for them.
At dusk, the police officers took me to the detention center, but I was refused admittance due to a “health problem.” When they took me back to the police station, they also escorted a woman who had recently been released back to the station.
She and I both spent the night sitting on chairs. She fell asleep in the chair and almost fell over because the chair had a broken leg. I woke her up and exchanged chairs with her.
The next morning, a young police officer pointed at the officer who was on the night shift and asked me, “Didn’t you explain the truth to him?” I said, “He already knows ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’” Everyone laughed.
On the third day, a man in his 70s who was arrested for stealing a cell phone was brought in. I explained the truth about Dafa to him and told him that we exchange our own de (virtue) for anything we take from others. He said, “I have read the Falun Dafa brochures. Your master is so great—he teaches you to be good people.”
When I was about to leave, I told him not to harm anyone and to try to make a living honestly. He said, “I got it!” and repeatedly thanked me.
During those three days, I just clarified the truth and recited the Fa while under surveillance and in the presence of police officers. The officers just listened quietly and didn’t stop me.
On the third afternoon, the police officers took me to the detention center again. On the way, an officer asked me about the so-called “self-immolation” at Tiananmen Square.
I said, “Tiananmen Square is so big. Have you ever seen a fire extinguisher? Do the police officers who patrol there routinely carry fire extinguishers? They even had a fire blanket at the ready. Everything was staged!”
Another officer said, “The CCP pays your pension, but you still oppose it.” I said, “We are not opposing it. It is heaven’s will that the Party will perish. We tell this heavenly secret to people to encourage them to quit the CCP and its affiliates to prevent them from going down with the CCP.
“My pension comes out of the taxes I paid before I retired. I deserve it. Have you ever seen the CCP pay salaries to those who pick through the trash?” The officers had no reply. When we reached the detention center, I was turned away yet again due to a “health problem.”
On our way back to the station, one officer pointed at me and said to the driver, “The doctor said she is a living example of two miracles: One is that she was able to recover from late-stage cancer; the other is that she can bear such high blood pressure.”
Three days and two nights later, I returned home.
During the over 20 years I have cultivated, Master has been taking care of me and protecting me all along. He repeatedly saved me from demonic tribulations and helped me dissolve the old forces’ persecution.
My gratitude for Master’s benevolence is beyond words. The only thing I can do is be more diligent, do well with the three things I should do, and help Master save as many people as possible.
