1. Promoting Dafa in Inner Harbor, City of Baltimore on Independence Day
July 4th is the American Independence Day. On the afternoon of July 4th, several Dafa practitioners from Baltimore went to the city's busiest section, Inner Harbor, to promote Dafa. There was a huge crowd of people passing by and a lot of visitors came early to watch the evening fireworks. We divided the tasks among ourselves quickly. Several held a banner with "FALUN DAFA" and began to do the exercises on the lawn. The rest distributed materials, which introduce Dafa and present the truth of Dafa, to the pedestrians who were interested in it, on several thoroughfares. Luckily, we met a delegation from China. They looked somewhat surprised but very interested. They only stood far from us and gazed at us. It is obvious that they had some worries. After all of them passed, one came back quietly and took one practitioner to a secluded corner and asked for some materials for promoting Dafa. Moreover, he urged repeatedly the practitioner not to tell others about him. Maybe because somebody took the lead, the other members of the delegation came one after another to ask for materials. One person among them asked his companion repeatedly, " Why is this totally different from the propaganda in China?" Another person said in a low voice, " Actually, we all know in our hearts, what is going on!"
There was an American gentleman who had a long interesting talk with one practitioner. When they talked about the Chinese government's crackdown on Falun Gong, his conclusion was: "That's a very sad affair in Chinese government!" It is worth mentioning that despite the fact that we came in haste, and were not able to apply for a permit, it looked like the police was moved by the peaceful practicing. They only took a look at us and then left to keep order at other places. At that time, Master Li's words came to my mind, "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities".
The promoting activity took off and went on without a hitch. A lot of pedestrians came to us and asked for materials. When it ended at nightfall, one practitioner still wanted to stay a little bit longer and distributed Dafa materials. All of us have a common wish: On this special historical period, let us introduce more people Dafa and tell more people the truth of Dafa.

2. Promoting Dafa in the Atlantic City
On July 4th, over ten practitioners from New Jersey and Philadelphia drove to promote Dafa in the Atlantic City and tell ordinary people the truth of Falun Gong. In the morning, we handed out Chinese materials (of Falun Gong) to a continuous stream of pedestrians along the long seashore embankment. In the afternoon, we sat on the ground to practice meditation on the embankment. It attracted a lot of visitors, from China and other countries to make a temporary stop, watching and inquiring., Of the thousands of all kinds of materials we brought, most of them were all distributed by 5:00pm.
Many practitioners feel that sending out materials itself is a process to continuously help a person to break away from any misconceptions. Most Chinese people have heard of Falun Gong more or less, but they are based on their concepts (a lot of which are distorted concepts) to form a layer of "shell" thick or thin, which makes a barrier for them not to accept the truth. Practitioners rely on their benevolence and sincerity to break this layer of shell and use all kinds of reports of the truth and facts to melt it. Send out a copy of material and chat and explain it based on the Fa in all matters. No matter what attitude the other side takes, or whether one accepts or not, we remind ourselves that we should not arouse our everyday people's feeling and affection. Only when we put down again and again our everyday people concepts, can we realize the limitedless mercies Shi-Fu (Master) gives to all beings, which are much more generous than the sea at our side.

3. Promoting the Fa in Sydney, Australia
In the morning of July 1st (Saturday), dozens of Falun Dafa practitioners from Sydney, Australia had an activity of practicing and promoting the Fa in a park in the south of Sydney.
This park is located in one side of a very busy junction of three main roads. In the early morning, practitioners hung a big red banner, which is seven meters long and two meters wide, onto two big iron-posts, which are close to the junction. Several eye-catching words "FALUN DAFA" were written in Chinese and English on it. A banner with the Falun Dafa website address was hung on the wooden fence close to the street in the park. Practitioners practiced five sets of Falun Gong between the banners. A big eye-catching banner and an occasion during which practitioners practiced smoothly and in a relaxed manner on the green lawn made a special scenery in this very busy traffic intersection and attracted a lot of drivers to watch.
Although it was for only a brief moment that these passersby were able to witness this special scene of promoting the Fa, it has laid a sound foundation for some of them to know and understand "Falun Dafa" furthermore in the future.
