When our SOS walk reached Vilnius, Lithuania, we went to the parliament. I called the Commission and Parliament members, and in one call after another I heard: "The Chairman of the committee is waiting for you, what time can you come?" Sometimes the Chairmen would invite us for a meeting of all the committee so everybody was able to hear what we had to say. We met one Lithuanian official who said that we had come at the perfect time, as he was going to meet the Chinese ambassador later on that day. He had heard about Falun Gong on television, and had wanted to talk to the ambassador about it but needed more information. I told him the story from the beginning to the present time, and about the persecution from the Chinese government. He smiled and asked if we were only talking to governments or if we could teach them the exercises as well. He said that he would talk to the ambassador about the persecution and demand that it stop. We presented him with the Russian version of Zhuan Falun [the main book of Falun Gong].

We also met with another official who promised to talk to many members of parliament and take action on this issue.

While walking on the streets, we never had enough flyers. People came up to us asking whether we had anything to give out or not. Everybody was drawn to us like a magnet. The looks in peoples' eyes said --"Do you have what I've been waiting for?"

Since we had been walking for a long period of time, I was conservative about printing flyers, since copies are expensive here. Now, however, I cannot walk on the street without giving out information about Falun Dafa.

We are here not only to meet government officials. The media have also been expecting and waiting for us for a long time. While giving a flyer to an elderly person, I realized that there are many very old people here. They get a flyer and read "Falun Dafa" and their eyes twinkle. I only now realized that there are people waiting for us to tell them about Falun Dafa. Just because some people are so lost in the material world that they do not look like they would welcome Falun Dafa or would be interested, does not mean that they have not been waiting.
