Five Falun Gong practitioners--two from Finland, one from Sweden and two Chinese practitioners living in Finland-- participated in an exhibition to introduce Falun Dafa in Lahti on September 29-30. The name of the exhibition was "Luomu-Lahti." "LuoMu" means "Luonnon Mukainen" (roughly translated as "nature like"). Over 18,000 people visited the exhibition during the weekend.
We demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Many visitors stopped to watch and ask questions. On Saturday morning, there were a lot of people from an elementary school visiting the exhibition. Those young kids were very interested. They watched the exercise demonstration and asked questions with enthusiasm. Many teachers also asked about Falun Gong and explained it to the kids.
Many young people signed our petitions to stop the persecution in China. People said they enjoyed the peacefulness at our booth and the exercise music.
35 people expressed interest in joining a weekend class in October or November to learn the exercises.
This exhibition was different from ones we participated in before. We are finding that many people now know the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and positive support from the people is becoming prominent this time.
