(Clearwisdom.net) When one defends himself, and condemns others, if he tries to cover other's mouths, then he must be lying. A perfect example of this situation was seen in a recent Xinhua News Agency article.
As the mouthpiece of the CCP dictatorial regime, the Xinhua News Agency tried to attack two articles posted on minghui.ca (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net), The Inhumane Torture Endured by Falun Dafa Practitioner Liao Yuanhua in Shayang Fanjiatai Prison, Hubei Province, and Illustrations of the Tortures that Hubei Dafa Practitioner Liao Yuanhua Received in Fanjiatai Prison (Photos). The Internet is blocked in China, and people are banned from reading the Minghui website. The journalists of minghui.ca are not allowed to conduct interviews inside Chinese prisons or labor camps, nor are they allowed to publish persecution facts openly inside China. The Xinhua News Agency's reaction in the face of truth reveals how terrifying such truths are to them.
Recalling how the Xinhua News Agency tried to cover the epidemic of SARS, we can easily see through its libelous attack on minghui.ca this time.
When the CCP regime abducted Mr. Liao Yuanhua and put him in Fanjiatai Prison located in Shayang City, Hubei Province, it was an act of violating a citizen's freedom of belief. The darkness inside China's prisons and labor camps is well known, especially the tortures conducted on Falun Dafa practitioners who refuse to write the "Three statements," resulting in many practitioners being tortured to death. Obviously, it is impossible to take photos of how police torture innocent people inside the prisons. After Mr. Liao Yuanhua was released from jail, he reenacted the torture scenes with the help of other fellow practitioners. Photos were taken of these re-enactments, which are more powerful than words in revealing the cruel persecution. These photos were published on the Internet. Any reader would know that these are imitations of the real acts, just as minghui.ca pointed out in the article. Falun Dafa practitioners outside of China are staging live torture reenactments in Manhattan and other cities throughout the world. Some play the role of practitioners, some act as policemen. These live demonstrations surpass the power of words in presenting the facts of the persecution. The Xinhua News Agency twisted these demonstrations, calling them complete fabrications. These attacks are truly groundless.
It is a victim's right to expose the tortures he or she experienced, using live demonstrations as necessary. But Mr. Liao Yuanhua and other victims were again abducted, interrogated with torture, and forced to negate the facts they had already revealed. From these acts we can see how terrifying, evil, and base these torturers are. The Xinhua News Agency quoted Mr. Liao Yuanhua's words attacking minghui.ca, but forgot that every reader would know he spoke these words under duress, knowing he could be tortured even worse the very next second. Who can believe the fabricated words the Xinhua News Agency quoted under such circumstances? Deng Xiaoping was crowned the "Second Biggest Representative of Capitalism inside the Party." In order to avoid being killed like Liu Shaoqi, who was crowned as "Traitor, Spy, Union Thief," he slapped his own face, and swore to "never appeal."
This article by the Xinhua News Agency is a critique in "Cultural Revolution Style." The CCP is terrified because these photo illustrations from Mainland Chinese Falun Dafa practitioners, and the live anti-torture exhibitions produced by overseas Falun Dafa practitioners, let the whole world see clearly the cruelty of Jiang and his regime. The Xinhua News Agency is terrified because overseas Falun Dafa practitioners are bringing Jiang and his regime to trial for "genocide, torture, and crimes against humanity," leaving them with no escape!
One such case began on November 4, 2004, when Falun Dafa practitioners filed a civil law suit against Su Rong (male) for his crimes of murder, torture, and defamation of Falun Dafa practitioners during his tenure as the Head of the Jilin Provincial 610 Office. On November 15, 2004, the Zambia Higher Court issued a Court Order blocking Su Rong from leaving the country before this case was closed. Su failed to appear in Court as ordered on November 8. On November 12, the Zambia Higher Court decided to hold a special hearing on November 13, 2004 for Su's "Contempt of Court," and Su again failed to appear as ordered. Thus, the Zambia police issued an arrest warrant and dispatched personnel to conduct a manhunt. After nearly ten days of running and hiding, evading an arrest warrant, Su crossed the Chirundu border post in Zambia and hid in Zimbabwe, then escaped to South Africa and flew back to China on Monday evening, November 15, 2004.
It is obvious, even in Zambia, a country under huge pressure from the Chinese dictatorship, that lies by the Xinhua News Agency cannot be tolerated. Just like the Xinhua News Agency said itself, "Lies are lies, all dark tricks will disappear under the sun." Through the irrational and strong reaction of the Xinhua News Agency, we see the shocking power of the torture demonstration photos and the live anti-torture exhibitions reenacted by Falun Dafa practitioners. We also see that criminals like Su Rong are trembling with fear.
Wrongful convictions are currently pervasive in China. Numerous villagers went to Beijing to appeal to the government for a variety of injustices. Everyone has his own story of blood and tears. They roam the streets without food or shelter, being harassed or beaten by "appeal blockers." People call the two appeals offices in Beijing, "The evil ghost offices." Mr. Ye Guozhu, one of those appealing because the government took his house away, was sentenced to four years in prison for "misconduct." The famous writers, Mr. Liu Xiaobo and Mr. Yu Jie, have both been detained recently because they spoke the truth. We can see from these facts that the persecution experienced by Falun Dafa practitioners extends to all kinds of people. The Xinhua News Agency is simply the mouthpiece of Jiang and his regime.
