(Clearwisdom.net) I come in contact with all kinds of people at work on a daily basis. Some of them are staff in other departments with whom I have work relations. Others are salesmen, delivery people, supervisors, or colleagues. On the surface, it may seem like they have come to my office by chance, but I believe their real purpose is to learn the truth about Falun Gong. The following are my experiences in truth clarification at the workplace. Please kindly point out anything that is not appropriate.
1. Only Clarifying the Truth Well Can One Establish a Good Work Environment
From time to time, I distribute truth-clarification material to my colleagues. Since I’m not able to enter the supervisors’ offices, I deliver truth-clarification material to their homes. If it’s not convenient to visit their homes, I will occasionally mail them the materials.
When I clarify the truth to my colleagues in person, I often remind them to treasure the material they receive and to read it carefully, because it will bring them blessings. Sometimes I purposely bring different truth clarification materials to certain offices, and ask them to exchange them with the ones I receive in my office.
After reading so many truth clarification materials, my colleagues began to see the truth. Some people drop by my office and shout: "Falun Dafa is good!" claiming that they learned it from the truth clarification materials. When something good happens at home, they thank Dafa for their blessings. They even tell me that if they ask others at work if Falun Dafa is good, the responses received are all nods in agreement.
2. Clarifying the Truth in My Office
Since I’m the person in charge at my office, I treat everyone who comes to my office as a guest. Due to limited time, I clarify the truth as soon as I pour them a glass of water. Usually I ask them if they have met me before, and if they know that I practice Falun Gong. Then I tell them: "You probably have heard that Falun Gong is good. Take myself as an example. I was not a healthy person, but after practicing Falun Gong for eight years, I have not spent a single penny on any treatment or medication. Everything you’ve seen on TV about Falun Gong is slanderous and defamatory." I just clarify the truth in one breath. Within my righteous field of energy, the person listens earnestly and we exchange some thoughts. Then I further clarify the truth in depth, suggesting that they quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations. Before they step out, I always give them truth-clarification material.
As for acquaintances that come to my office, I usually remind them to remember to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and then clarify the truth and inform them about the latest developments on the withdrawals from the CCP. Before they leave, I give them the latest truth clarification material, and kindly urge them to share the material with their relatives, so that everyone in the family will receive the blessings.
After my continuous effort in clarifying the truth, those who have predestined relationships with me at work have become more righteous. They have started to spread the seeds of benevolence to their friends and family. Sometimes they tell me about the blessings they’ve gained from learning the truth, and they bring me a list of people who wish to quit the CCP.
Within the last several years, colleagues have come and gone. Depending on the degree of righteous thoughts they have about Dafa, they have all benefited from it. Therefore, they all hope to share an office with me. Having noticed my good intentions and that I never miss an opportunity to clarify the truth, they often give me a hand and add a few comments when the opportunity is right. They say things like: "We’ve already read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," "The pseudo name he gave you for the three withdrawals is great, you should withdraw," "We all recite Falun Dafa is good," etc. They also adopt the approach I take for "The Three Withdrawals" to persuade their relatives to do the same. Or they bring their friends and relatives to listen to me clarifying the truth. When they find out that someone agreed to quit the CCP, they are as happy as I am about erasing the mark of the Communist evil specter.
Nonetheless, I have certainly run into unpleasant situations. One time I was too anxious in clarifying the truth, and did not clarify things accordingly. Someone handed the book, "About Jiang Zemin," a book I gave him, to the department head. When I went to the department head’s office, I saw the book on his table. I was a bit nervous and asked, "Who gave you such a good book?" The department head, who had already withdrawn from the party, was used to my clarifying the truth at work. So he replied humorously, "The person you gave the book to, gave it to me."
3. The Problems We Encounter While Clarifying the Truth Are All Related to Our Xinxing
The condition of our work environment is closely connected to the upgrading of our xinxing. When I’m not diligent in studying the Fa, my main spirit is not as strong. Therefore, the mentality of showing off, jealousy and competitiveness all appear in the work environment. If I’m not able to catch them in time, extra work would be added to my workload. In order to finish the work in a timely manner, I need to work overtime. So I do not have time to clarify the truth and to study the Fa. This becomes a vicious cycle. If I’m unable to upgrade my xinxing immediately, it brings more tribulations.
One time, a hall leader’s assistant burst into my office furiously. He screamed and warned me that I could lose my job if I kept on giving people Falun Gong material. After listening to him, I realized that someone had left truth-clarification materials in the car and it was found by his leader. The leader came to our department to complain. I clearly recognized that this kind of trouble was not brought on by truth clarification, but because of xinxing issues. I should not be afraid, as long as my thoughts and behavior are righteous, then there will be no problem when I clarify the truth. I should keep a pure and righteous heart to clarify the truth at work, and get up quickly if I trip and fall. Ever since then, I have not encountered any serious interference. As long as I study the Fa well, then I can keep a righteous mind, and the work environment becomes serene and peaceful.
Every day I try to do the three things well. Even though I’m a professional, I seldom read books related to my profession. Some people come to consult on specific professional questions with me. Although I don’t always know the answer, I always clarify the truth to them. Once I’ve done that, I become inspired and the problem is easily solved. Thus, I’m able to offer professional guidance and suggestions. People have the impression that I’m capable and talented, and I gain their respect. I know this is the wisdom that Dafa has bestowed upon me; to allow everyone to see the goodness of Dafa practitioners, and to create a favorable condition for truth clarification.
