As Dafa disciples, we need to set up truth-clarification material production sites everywhere. There are three Falun Gong practitioners who are not young in our region. A is 79 years old, B is in her sixties, and C is in her fifties They did not make up their minds to learn computers at first. However, with the Fa rectification moving forward, they have gradually changed their minds and have gotten rid of their notions. I would like to share our cultivation experience with fellow practitioners here.
Master Makes the Arrangements and We Become Pure Lotus Flowers
When the persecution of Falun Gong first started in 1999, our local truth-clarification material sites were severely sabotaged. Most of the practitioners who were brave enough to step out and clarify the truth did not know how to use computers. So for a while, we did not get access to Master's new articles and updated news on the Minghui website. Occasionally, we obtained some truth-clarification materials from other places, which we had to copy by hand. It was really difficult to expose the evil, promote quitting the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, and make announcements. We had to ask practitioners from other places to help us. Sometimes, things got delayed due to long distance transportation.
To catch up with the Fa rectification process, three older practitioners in our region purchased two color copiers in the winter of 2006. They supplied our local practitioners with truth-clarification materials, Master's lectures and articles. We were all very satisfied with the quality of the print-outs. However, the demand became bigger and bigger. Sometimes, we had to work overnight to get print-outs ready. The printers were out of order several times due to the overuse. Without computers, we could not download articles from the Minghui website directly, so we were not able to get up-to-date news and articles printed out.
In 2007, we bought computers. When we were worrying about who we were going to learn computers from, a practitioner from another place came and taught us. He brought us printers, laminators, paper cutters, and other equipment and supplies. He was very patient when he was teaching us the techniques. We were very happy. Since then, we have gotten access to up-to-date news, Master's new articles, Minghui Weekly, fliers and other materials, which satisfy our needs in truth-clarification and Fa study.
Since we did not have a high-speed Internet connection at our material production site, we got electronic materials from two practitioners from another region through flash disks. Due to the long distance, they had to relay the flash disks one after another, and finally they could reach us. That was how our first material production site was set up, thanks to Master's arrangement.
We deeply felt that the reason we could pick up computer skills at such an old age was because Master arranged it for us. We believed that some of the most challenging tasks were actually performed directly by Master and were accomplished with Master's wisdom. In (“Fragrant Lotus”, Hong Yin II), Master wrote,
“The pure lotus is born from the Fa
Compassion spreads its fragrant scent
Sprinkling the world with sweet dew
Blossoming lotuses fill Heaven’s courtyard”
Based on Master's poem, as Dafa disciples, we are pure lotus flowers.
One Lotus Flower Turns into Nine Flowers
The only material production site we had shouldered the great responsibilities of saving sentient beings. The Chinese government slandered Falun Gong practitioners with all its propaganda. Many people were still believing what was being said. It was getting close to the end of the Fa rectification. We were feeling the urgency of saving sentient beings, so we were badly in need of a great amount of truth-clarification materials. Quite a few practitioners printed out four to five hundred copies each time. It was time now for us to set up more material production sites.
We asked practitioners from other places to set up two more material production sites at fellow practitioners' homes. We produced Minghui Weekly, weekly newspapers, pamphlets, and other truth-clarification materials very quickly. We also set up equipment to print out Dafa books to meet the needs of new practitioners.
After a while, we set up another two material production sites. Practitioners A and B bought additional equipment, and further improved our production.
The two new sites played different roles from previous ones. Practitioner A provided two local practitioners who did not have Internet access with reading materials downloaded from the Minghui website, as well as cooperating with other production sites. Besides, he was also in charge of submitting names of people who renounced their membership in the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. He worked hard to validate the Fa and run the production site smoothly.
After learning that the production sites in her former workplace were destroyed by the government, practitioner C set up a new one there. She later helped other practitioners to set up another five production sites at home. Since then, the three of us who did not know anything about computers have managed nine material production sites.
Nine Lotus Flowers Working Together to Save Sentient Beings
The three of us worked together and cooperated with each other very well. In the beginning, we worked at the same places. We worked on different tasks and cooperated very well. Later, we were in different places. With our previous collaboration experience, we still could cooperate well. For example, practitioner A did not have confidence in herself when she first started learning the computer. She did not pick it up quickly. She made up her mind to catch up, so she bought a computer, and practiced using the computer day and night. Finally, she managed to learn how to download things online, how to do type setting and printing, design fliers, and submit articles to the Minghui website. She carefully selects truth-clarification materials from the Minghui website, which are tailored to ordinary people's understanding. Therefore, our local practitioners prefer to use her materials due to their effectiveness.
In our local region, there were many cancer patients. Practitioner A printed out truth-clarification materials with stories on how cancer patients recovered by agreeing with the principles of Falun Dafa, and by quitting the Chinese Communist Party. Local practitioners distributed them to ordinary people. One practitioner gave a flier to his relative who was extremely sick due to nasal cancer. The relative regarded the flier as a treasure. He immediately renounced his membership in the Chinese Communist Party. He recited “Falun Dafa is good. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He felt much better after doing all these things. He said that Dafa was intended to save sentient beings. He started reading Zhuan Falun, and practiced the Falun Gong exercises. Since then, he has been a Falun Gong practitioner.
There were also many patients with various diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and strokes. Practitioner A downloaded truth-clarification materials from the Minghui website, which talked about how patients recovered from serious diseases after quitting the Chinese Communist Party. These materials had positive effects in saving sentient beings. There was a heart disease patient who recovered after learning the facts about Falun Gong. Before he quit the Chinese Communist Party, he was asked to have an operation on his heart. However, after reading the materials and deciding to quit the party, he recovered miraculously. Needless to say, he was extremely happy.
These days, parents all wish their children to attend college. Some students prepare year after year in order to get in. However, sometimes, they still fail to do so. Their parents are really worried. Practitioner A, therefore, collected articles from the Minghui website on college entrance exams. Some students were accepted into top tier universities after quitting the Chinese Communist Party and understanding what Falun Dafa was.
Some ordinary people in our region thought Falun Gong practitioners were involved in politics when asking people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Practitioner A downloaded the article by Ye Hao, a former high level government official in the Ministry of Public Security. In the article Going Out of Politics and into Cultivation, he shared his experience in Falun Gong cultivation and truth-clarification. The article was copied and distributed widely, and had very positive effects. One retired government official read the article, and changed his attitude towards Falun Gong practitioners and their truth-clarification efforts. He became very supportive of Falun Gong.
Previously, when Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted, their families and friends were afraid to speak out and demand justice. Practitioner A found out that there was a common reason behind the fear: they did not know the evil force behind the persecution. Therefore, she prepared truth-clarification materials to systematically expose the evil wrongdoings of the 610 Office, the public security organs, the labor camps, and prisons involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. The materials also clearly stated that “Belief is not a crime. Persecution is against the law.” The truth-clarification materials were distributed widely. Some of them were either mailed out or posted. The methods they used were very effective.
Practitioner B set up the first material production site. In order to master the skills of printing and repairs, he worked very hard. Quite a few times, he carried printers on his back to find fellow practitioners for repairs. Now he has mastered the skills. So wherever there is a problem with the printers, he will go and help out.
Practitioner C was able to prepare Dafa books and truth-clarification notes. She later learned how to set up dual operating systems on computers. She is not at our material production site any more, but whenever we need her help, she is ready to come back and help out. She sometimes comes back to the first material production site to prepare Dafa books, and helps fellow practitioners to install dual operating systems. The three of us are not in one place, but we have been working well with each other. The three of us are in charge of the nine material production sites. The production sites are like nine lotus flowers, which are united together.
In Master's lecture “Fa Teaching Given at the Epoch Times Meeting”, Master said,
“The Dafa disciples of the world together encompass the whole earth, with each person having a certain reach. All of what you encounter and meet with owes to factors that are present within your expanse. If you can have sufficient righteous thoughts, you can then be towering and massive within your expanse and suppress any bad things that might exist there. Were every Dafa disciple able to achieve this, the entire world would change, since each of you assumes responsibility for a large expanse in this world and represents a certain segment of sentient beings.”
Judged by Master's Fa teaching, we have not represented a large enough area in the world. We must work harder.
Studying the Fa Diligently Is the Fundamental Guarantee to Sustaining a Good Material Production Site
Since the material production site was set up, studying the Fa well has become very important. In Master's recent lecture “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”, Master said,
“If whatever it is that you’re doing is not grounded in the Fa, if it does not have the power of the Fa, and if you haven’t cultivated well, you will not do those things well. Although you might have done whatever it is, it has not achieved any effect and simply cannot save people, for you are ineffective in dissolving evil factors. That is why Fa-study is still the most, most important thing—it is the fundamental guarantee for all that you are to do.”
To follow Master's requirements on Fa study, the three of us pay attention to Fa study on our own. In addition, we set up a Fa study group and join other Fa study groups. We systematically study Master's lectures and articles. We also go over Master's arguments on how to clarify the truth and how to save the sentient beings. Therefore, we have kept a clear mind on how to prepare truth-clarification materials.
In Master's lecture “Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website’s Founding”, Master said:
“We have to inform people about Falun Gong. The most basic things, like what Falun Gong is, should never be left out. We must talk about it. People who haven't heard the truth and don't know what Falun Gong is, or people who are prejudiced against Falun Gong, don't know about or understand things on a most basic level, and their biases were caused by the wicked CCP's indoctrination. So you do still need to inform them about Falun Gong, and in fact, you should make this a focus.”
To follow Master's instructions on how to clarify the truth, we often select articles from the Minghui website on what Falun Gong is, why the Chinese Communist Party persecuted the Falun Gong practitioners, what quitting the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations is about, and why people should quit. We also use articles to debunk the staged self-immolation on Tiananmen Square, and to tell people about how many have benefited after quitting the Chinese Communist Party and agreeing with the principles of Falun Gong. We try our best to make people learn the truth and be saved.
Based on our experience, since the material production sites were set up, more and more truth-clarification materials were supplied to fellow practitioners and distributed to ordinary people. Fellow practitioners have made great strides in cultivation. More and more ordinary people have been saved. A practitioner who used to be afraid to go out to distribute truth-clarification materials is now able to talk about Falun Gong in public, after reading Master's new articles, Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party, Minghui Weekly, and other materials provided by us. After reading them, he quickly caught up in cultivation. He clarified the truth to his family and friends, and managed to help them quit the Chinese Communist Party. Since then, his family members have become Falun Gong practitioners. The young family members bought a computer and gained access to the Minghui website. They even learned how to install NTDTV, and received high-definition TV programs. They are distributing a lot of truth-clarification materials. Sometimes, their high demand requires photocopying more materials.
More and more truth-clarification materials are being distributed, and more and more announcements to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations are being collected and sent back to the material production site. Whenever we see the name list, we are sincerely happy for these people.
Our material production sites have played a crucial role in exposing the evil and rescuing fellow practitioners. Last year, a fellow practitioner was arrested. When the article about his arrest was published, people at home and abroad called the personnel involved in the arrest, demanding the immediate release of the fellow practitioner. Those people understood they were wrong, and released him.
Years of experience demonstrates that Falun Dafa disciples must set up more and more material production sites in order to validate the Fa and do the three things well. The Minghui website is the portal for new articles and lectures by Master, which direct us on how to cultivate and clarify the truth, and save sentient beings. Through the Minghui website, we share our cultivation experience and expose the wrongdoings of the evil. Due to its importance, the evil has severely monitored practitioners' access to it, and tried hard to block it. Internet users' every single movement is under surveillance. As long as we set up material production sites, we can download articles from the Minghui website, and distribute them to ordinary people. In this sense, material production sites are actually the relay sites to spread Minghui articles and to save sentient beings. Therefore, the more production sites, the better.
Our material production sites have very positive effects in our region in terms of clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. However, our region has a dense population and a vast amount of land. We must study the Fa diligently, and study the recent two lectures to do a better job.
