(Clearwisdom.net) In the area of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, 30 practitioners were reportedly arrested in 2010, although the actual number may be higher.
They are, in the order of the time when they were arrested: Tan Xinfeng, Zhao Chuanhong, Zhao Dongmei, Zhu Dalin, Yu Chuanping, Ye Lurong, Tang Jingmei, Yue Jinlan, Li Anning, Lu Na (from Hefei, Anhui), Wang Huanhua (from Hefei, Anhui), Jiang Rui, Peng Jilong, Sun Youmei, Zhong Shanshan, Sun Delan, Tang Guochao, Liu Shuyun, Wu Zhiming, Ling Jun, Qian Mingfang, Pang Qian, Hou Bizhen, Han Chaoming, Kong Qingmei, Wu Shunzhen, Wei Min, Sun Yonghong, and Shen Xiangyang
Seven of them have been sent to forced labor camps; ten have been taken to a brainwashing center; three have been illegally sentenced, and one has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
The following are partial accounts:
On March 5, Mr. Tan Xinfeng from Jiangpu Street in the Pukou District in Nanjing was arrested by the 610 Office and the Pukou District Public Security Bureau and taken to the Pukou District Shifosi Detox Center. On April 5, he was sentenced to forced labor for one year. When the labor camp refused to admit him, he was held in the Pukou District Detention Center until the end of May, when he was released.
On March 8, Zhao Chuanhong and Zhao Dongmei from Lishui County, Nanjing, were illegally detained in the Lishui County Baima Brainwashing Center.
On March 22, Zhu Dalin from Lishui County was taken to the Lishui County Baima Brainwashing Center
On March 12 in the morning, Mr. Dou Wenqiang from the Pukou District was followed by some unidentified persons to his workplace.
On April 28, Mr. Yu Chuanping and Ms. Ye Lurong (husband and wife) were arrested by staff from the Nanjing City Public Security Bureau, the Nanjing 610 Office, the Pukou District Public Security, the Pukou 610 Office, and the Pukou District Taishan Police Station. Ms. Lu was later released but Mr. Yu Chuanping was taken to a brainwashing center. On July 2, he was released.
In May, Ms. Tang Jingmei, Ms. Yue Jinlan, and Ms. Li Anning were arrested when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in the Suojincun Community, the Xuanwu District, Nanjing. Each was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
On May 13, Ms. Lu Na and Ms. Wang Huanhua were arrested by officers from Nanjing and taken to the Huaihailu Police Station in the Baixia District. For more information, please refer to http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/10/29/121093.html。
In April, Jiang Rui from Nanjing was arrested and taken to the Nanjing Brainwashing Center.
On May 26, Mr. Peng Jilong was arrested by staff from the 610 Office of the Baixia District, the Baixia District Public Security Bureau, and the Sifangxincun Police Station. He is now detained in the Baixia District Brainwashing Center.
On June 25, Ms. Sun Youmei from Nanjing was sentenced to four years of imprisonment, which she is serving outside of the jail.
Ms. Zhong Shanshan was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center, according to reports on the Minghui (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) website on July 20, 2010.
On July 2, Ms. Sun Delan from Nanjing was out talking to people about Falun Gong, but never returned home. It is suspected that she was reported to the police and arrested.
On August 5, 8 p.m. Mr. Tang Guochao was talking to people about Falun Gong near the Hongtaiyang Furniture Shopping Center. Early in the morning the next day, three police officers with no search warrant ransacked his home.
On August 11, Ms. Liu Shuyun from Nanjing was arrested by the Xuanwu District 610 Office and the Hongshan Police Station.
Towards the end of August, Mr. Wu Zhiming from the Pukou District was arrested by the Pukou District 610 Office and taken to a brainwashing center in Nanjing.
On September 27, Ms. Ling Jun was arrested and taken first to the Pukou District Zhujing Police Station and later to the Nanjing Women's Detention Center. She has been sentenced to one year of forced labor by the Pukou Public Security Bureau.
In late November, Ms. Qian Mingfang and Ms. Pang Qian (mother and daughter) were taken to the “House of Love” Brainwashing Center.

On November 16, Ms. Hou Bizhen from Lishui County was arrested by the Yongyang Township Police Station and taken to a brainwashing center.
On December 3, Ms. Han Chaoming from Nanjing was arrested and taken to the Gulou District Brainwashing Center.
At the beginning of December 2010, Ms. Kong Qingmei from Nanjing was locked in a hospital in Nanjing for refusing to participate in the brainwashing session organized by the Nanjing Public Security Bureau.
On December 10, Ms. Wu Shunzhen and Wei Min from Nanjing were arrested by the Jiangning District Taowu Township and taken to the Nanjing Detention Center. Ms. Wu Shunzhen was sentenced to one year and a half of forced labor.

At the end of December 2010, Mr. Zhai Yuxin from Nanjing had his home ransacked by the police. He managed to escape, but his whereabouts are unknown.
In the morning on January 30, 2011, Ms. Sun Yonghong and Mr. Shen Xiangyang (husband and wife) from Nanjing were arrested.
