(Clearwisdom.net) On the occasion of the 12th World Falun Dafa Day and the 19th anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public, Mike Bernier, Mayor of the City of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada, proclaimed May 2011 as Falun Dafa Month honoring Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance in Dawson Creek.

Whereas, Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation practice of mind, body and spirit based on the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”;
And Whereas, since its public introduction in 1992, Mr. Li Hongzhi, Falun Dafa teachings have helped over 100 million people worldwide improve their health, elevate their mind, uplift their spirit, and deepen their understanding of life, humanity, and the universe;
And Whereas, more men and women of Canada are leaning the practice of purifying their hearts, energizing their bodies and embracing peaceful, virtuous communities;
And Whereas, Falun Dafa emphasizes a holistic approach to health that includes the cultivation of one’s moral character by following the universe’s benevolent characteristics of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, as well as practicing gentle exercises;
And Whereas, Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries and contributes to the universal dream of peaceful, tolerant, and more compassionate society;
Now Therefore, I do hereby proclaim May 2011 as
“Falun Dafa Month”
Honoring Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance
