(Clearwisdom.net) On May 1, the annual May Festival in the City of Kaiserslautern was held by the Trade Union Confederation in Rheinland-Pfalz. Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the event.
The governor of Rheinland-Pfalz, Kurt Beck, visited every booth and greeted the festival participants. When Governor Beck arrived at the Falun Gong booth, he was surprised to see that several old friends of his were standing with Falun Gong practitioners as supporters. He briefly read the truth-clarifying materials. His friends and assistants told him about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Governor Beck said that he would like to learn more about the issue.

Mr. Dietmar Muscheid, the trade union leader in Rheinland-Pfalz, signed the petition condemning the brutal persecution. He said that he supported Falun Gong. He gave practitioners contact information for several people who might help stop the human rights violation in China. The German Trade Union has been supporting Falun Gong's fight for human rights for years and has always been against human rights violations all over the world.

It was a fine day. Many tourists visited the Falun Gong booth. They talked to practitioners and learned about the persecution of Falun Gong and other human rights violations in China. Many of them signed the petition. Members of Amnesty International and other international human rights organizations also participated in the festival. They discussed the human rights violations in China with Falun Gong practitioners.
Many tourists expressed their concerns about the persecution. They were glad to learn that they had a chance to sign the petition and express their support for human rights in China.
