(Clearwisdom.net) On Friday, June 24, 2011, the first “Art of Truth, Compassion, Tolerance” exhibition was held at the Zok Village House in Zok, Hungary. Zok Councillor Gabor Nagy opened the exhibit with a heart-warming speech. The exhibition featured 24 artworks produced by practitioners. The exhibition in Zok was the result of practitioners’ combined efforts and several months of preparation.
With a population of barely 300, Zok has hosted Potato Festivals that attract increasingly more visitors each year. Around 1,000 people attended this year's festival from the nearby settlements of Aranyosgadany, Bicserd, Boda, Kozarmisleny, Pecs, Szalantarol, and Szava. Many of these visitors to the festival came by to attend the exhibition. Falun Dafa practitioners gave a guided tour of the works.
The wife of a Szava city councillor, Mrs. Julianna Palotas-Voros, attended the exhibition. Councillors from nearby towns also attended.
Many visitors left positive comments in the guestbook, some of which included:
“Today, the only way people’s moral values can improve is through showing love, goodness, and compassion towards each other in every facet of our lives.”
“The exhibition is surprising and wonderful. I sincerely congratulate you and ask that you hold exhibits in as many places as possible!”
“I have never seen this much emotion in an exhibit. I liked it.”
“Thank you for letting me see these paintings.”
