(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Huang Liying worked in the Chenzhou Cigarette Factory in Hunan Province. She never complained, and was widely regarded as a good employee. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong, she was repeatedly targeted because she firmly believed in “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” She was sentenced to three years in prison, was dismissed from her job, and was recently taken to a brainwashing center.
Brainwashing Center
A group of people rushed into Ms. Huang Liying's home on the morning of October 17, 2011. They claimed to be from Chenzhou 610 Office, the Stability Maintenance Office, the “Comprehensive Administration Office,” and the police department. They took Ms. Huang Liying to the fourth floor of the Brainwashing Center of the CCP Party School in Beihu District, Chenzhou.
The brainwashing center is a private prison set up by the 610 Office. It brainwashes Falun Gong practitioners by means of threats, torture, and deceit. Publicly, it is listed as a “Legal System Education Training Center.” The detained Falun Gong practitioners are watched by guards, and are not allowed to have contact with the outside. Their cell phones are confiscated, and they are not allowed to practice the exercises.
In the brainwashing center, Ms. Huang Liying asked if she could place a call to her employer. Her request was refused without reason. Ms. Huang Liying said, “If the company can't determine my whereabouts, they will worry about me and report it to police.” A CCP staff member said, “No problem. Even if they report it to the police, they will come to us.” Ms. Huang has been persecuted in the brainwashing center for two weeks.
Ms. Huang Repeatedly Persecuted
In 2000, Ms. Huang Liying went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, to point out how she benefits both physically and mentally from the practice. CCP personnel took her to Chenzhou brainwashing center.
On May 16, 2003, Ms. Huang Liying distributed greeting cards on which “Falun Dafa is good” was written in a residential area. She was reported to police and was sent to the Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province for one year, by the Chenzhou Police Department.
On July 1, 2004, Ms. Huang Liying was arrested because she posted several small posters on which “Falun Dafa is Good” was written. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Suxian District Court in Chenzhou. She was later tortured in the Changsha Women's Prison in Hunan Province for three years. While she was being detained, Ms. Huang Liying was dismissed from her job.
