(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, six practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Pan Yingchun Missing for Ten Years
Ms. Pan Yingchun, 36, a practitioner from Wuxing Village, Xiangyang Township, Zhaodong City, has been missing since her arrest ten years ago.
2. [Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yonghua Missing for Over Three Years
Ms. Zhao Yonghua, a practitioner from Huangqigou Village, Suzigou Town, Xiuyan County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, has been missing since her arrest on August 28, 2008 while she was clarifying the truth in Hongqi Town, Xiuyan County.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Guozhi Arrested
Mr. Zhang Guozhi, a practitioner from Changchun City, was arrested on April 4, 2012 by the Jingyue Police Station when he went out, and has been missing ever since.
4. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Hongying and Ms. Lu Hongyan Arrested
Ms. Lu Hongying and Ms. Lu Hongyan, practitioners from Jiamusi City, were arrested on the morning of March 27, 2012 by the No. 2 Criminal Investigation Team of the Jiadong Police Department Division in Jiamusi City, while handing out Shen Yun DVDs. On the afternoon of April 1, the captain of the Criminal Investigation Team, Geng Zhiwen, led four or five policemen to break into Ms. Lu Hongying's and Ms. Lu Hongyan's homes, confiscated their computers, and threatened their families.
5. [Luobei County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Haibin, Ms. Jiang Zhihui, and Two Others Arrested
In early November of 2011, the 610 Office and police department arrested Mr. Liu Haibin and Ms. Jiang Zhihui, along with two other practitioners, and ransacked their homes.
6. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ding Xueping Incarcerated in Harbin Women's Prison
Ms. Ding Xueping, a practitioner from Yilan County, was arrested on the afternoon of October 29, 2011, and was held at the Second Detention Center of Harbin City. After she was sentenced to three years in prison, Ms. Ding was incarcerated in the Harbin Women's Prison.
7. [Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Feng'e Arrested
Ms. Zhang Feng'e, a practitioner from Zhongwei City, was arrested by Li Jinxiao and other police officers from the Domestic Security Division of Zhongwei City on September 27, 2011 while she was clarifying the truth, and was later held at the Zhongwei City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang has been detained for more than seven months.
8. [Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Chang Xiu'e, Ms. Huang Yuxia and Mr. Sun Jianfeng Arrested
Police officers from the Domestic Security Division of Zhongwei City,broke into Ms. Chang Xiu'e's home on March 30, 2012. They arrested Ms. Chang Xiu'e, Ms. Huang Yuxia and Mr. Sun Jianfeng, practitioners from Zhongwei City, and ransacked their homes. They confiscated from Ms. Chang Xiu'e's and Ms. Huang Yuxia'ecutters, MP3 players, e-books, Falun Gong lecture books, and DVDs, among many other personal items. The three practitioners were later taken to the Zhongwei City Police Department.
The policeman Li Cunshan handcuffed Ms. Huang Yuxia, beat her severely, and tortured her using the “Tiger Bench.” Ms. Huang was released after she fell ill, and was sent back home on the night of March 31.
9. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Maoyuan and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Zhang Maoyuan and his wife Ms. Feng Jinhua were arrested at home and their home was ransacked on March 27, 2012 by police officers from the Zhangjialou Police Station. Mr. Zhang Maoyuan is being held in the Jiaonan City Detention Center, and is forbidden from having visitors. Ms. Feng Jinhua was arrested and taken to the Dashan Detention Center of Qingdao City, and was later rejected due to high blood pressure. She was then arrested and taken to the Jinan City Brainwashing Center by the Jiaonan City Politics and Law Committee and the 610 Office.
10. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Mr. Cao Yuhuai Persecuted Without Practicing Falun Gong
Mr. Cao Yuhuai, from Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province, is not a Falun Gong practitioner. His wife, Ms. Wang Jing, suffered from cerebral thrombosis and has been better since she practiced Falun Gong. Mr. Cao Yuhuai was arrested and taken to the Tuanjie Street Police Station on June 20, 2010. Some police officers struck him in the face with a leather belt, took off his pants, tortured him with the “Tiger Bench,” and whipped his legs repeatedly with belts. The police later arrested him and took him to a forced labor camp for one and a half years.
11. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gai Yongzhi and Ms. Xu Jun Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Gai Yongzhi and Ms. Xu Jun, practitioners from Fushun City, Liaoning Province, were arrested in March 2011, and have been detained in the Fushun City Detention Center. Ms. Gai and Ms. Xu have recently been sentenced to five years in prison, and were transferred to the Women's Prison of Shenyang Prison Town in Liaoning Province in late March 2012.
