(Minghui.org) The Minghui School in Japan participated in the annual Ono Festival on August 18-19, 2012, and won a special award.
The Ono Festival is a large celebration featuring a dance competition with thirty-five years of history. One hundred thirty-five thousand people attended the festival this year. One hundred twenty-three groups participated in the dance competition.

The Falun Dafa group's Minghui School wins a special award in the junior division
Young Falun Dafa practitioners from the Minghui School gave seven performances in the first two days, including a fan dance, a ribbon dance, and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration. Dressed in soft green costumes and holding bright pink fans, their performance to the music “Celebrate Falun Dafa Day,” won enthusiastic applause. One spectator said, “The dance by the Minghui School children was spirited, but not frenzied. It was refreshing and relaxing, and left me with a positive feeling.”
