(Minghui.org) On the two weekends at the end of August and the beginning of September, melodious exercise music was heard on the square in downtown Wiener Neustadt, fifty kilometers south of Vienna. The event was Falun Gong Information Day, where practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the public and expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) thirteen-year brutal persecution.

The event drew the attention of many local people out strolling and shopping in the downtown area. Many stopped to inquire about Falun Gong and to learn about the persecution in China. People were concerned about the brutality of the persecution and were especially shocked by the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many signed a petition to express their support for Falun Gong and to call for an end to the persecution.
