“Falun Gong is not just a Chinese practice. It is relevant to the whole world. We are all searching for answers in life. If we truly follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the world will be so much better,” said a participant of a recent Falun Gong march in Madrid. Others explained what drew them to the practice and to get involved in efforts to stop the persecution in China.
Falun Gong practitioners hold rallies, marches, and parades around the world to raise awareness of the ongoing persecution in China and show people the beauty and benefits of the practice. Practitioners in Madrid recently held a rally and march, and talked with many supportive Spanish citizens and visitors.
The Chinese regime has waged a war of propaganda and violence against peaceful Falun Gong practitioners since 1999, calling its detention facilities "schools" and "rehabilitation centers" while its agents dole out horrific amounts of physical abuse behind closed doors.
