(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Shuhua from Aershan City, Inner Mongolia has been subjected to harassment, repeated illegal arrest and forced labor over the years. She has twice been sent to the local procuratorate to be persecuted. However, the procuratorate staff saw the obvious injustice being done to her and refused to follow the persecution policy, even though they were heavily pressured by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The following is a brief account of Mr. Wang Shuhua's persecution:
The CCP started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. Many practitioners were arrested that day and Ms. Wang was one of them.
Three officers broke into Ms. Wang's house and took her to the local township office on the morning of July 20, 2999. They interrogated her until 3:00 a.m. the next morning
Liu, the township Party head, tried to extort 8,000 yuan from her. When Ms. Wang told him that she didn't have that much money, Liu forced her to borrow money from her friends and relatives. In the end he extorted 1,500 yuan. Her family has also been harassed and monitored by police frequently.
While Ms. Wang was preparing to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on February 26 2000, someone reported her and she was arrested by police officer Ma Fuqing and others. Her house was searched and ransacked.
She was sentenced to two years of forced labor after being detained for a month. While she was detained at the Tumuji Forced Labor Camp, she was forced to do over ten hours of farm work every day and was often beaten and scolded. She was bailed out in 2001.
Officers Ma Fuqing and He Guangshan broke into her house again in July 2001 and took her away for interrogation. She was deprived of sleep for three days and nights. When the police went to have lunch, they forced Ms. Wang to stand still facing the wall.
The police weren't successful in their interrogations, which made Ma Fuqing furious. He threatened her, “I'll make sure you get seven years in prison.” He took Ms. Wang to the local procuratorate. Ms. Wang told the prosecutor how she had benefited from practicing Falun Dafa. The prosecutor then declined to charge her. He said, “There's nothing we can do in her case,” and left.
Ma Fuqing again took Ms. Wang to the Tumuji Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor in August 2001. Ms. Wang was made to do intensive slave labor and was subjected to a lot of mental torment while she was detained there. When her term was up, instead of allowing her to return home, they extended her term by another three months
Four officers came to her house again on the night of May 2005 and started shouting at her and ransacked her home, but didn't find anything. In frustration they took away Ms. Wang's son and detained him for two weeks.
When Ms. Wang was visiting her relatives out of town in June 2005, she received a phone call from home. She was told that the police had returned to search and ransack her home again, and that she should stay away.
Ms. Wang was forced to live a homeless life until 2011. While she was away, her older sister was very worried about her and lived in fear every day. Due to the stress, Ms. Wang's sister died from a sudden heart attack.
Two years after Ms. Wang returned home, she was arrested again on November 19, 2013 by officer Xin Guangzhong and others.
Xin Guangzhong said, “It looks like we need to treat the procuratorate staff to a meal.” It meant that he was determined to have Ms. Wang jailed, and wished to bribe the staff. However, his attempt failed as the procuratorate once again returned her file due to lack of evidence. The police had to release her after detaining her for 37 days.
