(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Macau held an event at the Ruins of St. Paul's on January 31, 2014, Chinese New Year, to introduce the practice and encourage Chinese tourists to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. It was a sunny day, and tourists, including groups of families, began arriving in the morning. Drawn by a large banner worded “Falun Dafa is Great” and the music “Falun Dafa is Great,” many visitors came forward to learn about the practice and read the poster boards. After reading the informational materials, many renounced the CCP.

While middle-aged and older visitors enjoyed reading the Epoch Times , younger tourists were happy to receive software allowing them to circumvent the Chinese regime's information blockade firewall. Many older people were eager to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Several people asked the questions, “Why does the CCP want to persecute Falun Gong? What's your purpose in holding this event?”
A practitioner answered, “The main culprit of the persecution of Falun Gong is former CCP head Jiang Zemin. As the number of people practicing Falun Gong was more than CCP members, and many high-level CCP officials also practiced Falun Gong before 1999, Jiang was jealous and afraid of losing control. So he initiated the persecution, using the entire state machinery.
“The CCP's persecution violates Chinese law and uses lies and fabrication to defame Falun Gong. For example, the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident was masterminded by Luo Gan and Li Dongsheng, with the purpose of defaming Falun Gong. The peaceful appeal of ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners at the State Council Appeals Office was twisted around and reported as a 'siege.' The CCP has even carried out an unprecedented atrocity – organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Thousands of practitioners are confirmed to have died in the persecution, though the actual number is likely much higher. The persecution is still ongoing.”
As soon as he finished the explanation, one tourist said, “I am a CCP member. I understand.” Another said, “The Party is too evil. You will win.”
The practitioner told the tourists, “Our truth-clarification is to stop the persecution and let those who know the facts quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, in order to ensure a better future.”
Practitioners' world-wide truth-clarification efforts have helped more and more people awaken. At the Macau event, several people took the initiative to ask about how they could renounce the Party.
On the afternoon of February 2, a young girl came forward and asked a practitioner politely, “Sir, Happy New Year! I am a CCP Youth League member. I want to quit it. Can you help me?” A practitioner said, “Happy New Year! Sure I can help you to renounce it. I'll give you an alias and register it here for your withdrawal.” She asked, “Are there many people quitting the Party?” The practitioner answered, “As the CCP is so corrupt and has committed so many crimes, more than 150 million Chinese people have quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. Look at this register book. I have helped more than 100 people quit the Party this afternoon. The other practitioners here have helped more people quit.” The young woman was delighted and thanked the practitioners for bringing her the truth.
