(Minghui.org) My husband and I are both Falun Dafa practitioners. Over the past ten years of our cultivation, we have witnessed Dafa's sacredness and beauty. The illness I had previously was cured thanks to Dafa, and our relationships with all of our family and neighbors is very good and peaceful. We have also been saved in life threatening situations by Master.
We would like to share some of our experiences to show our infinite gratitude to our compassionate Master!
Husband Unharmed After Being Struck By Lightning
Without warning a fierce storm broke out, just after we had finished lunch, on August 24, 2012. There was loud thunder and flashing lightning, with a heavy downpour of rain. Instantly our yard was filled with water, and it continued to rise. It became obvious to us that the sewer was blocked. My husband hurried outside to clear the blockage. Then he went over to the gate to check the running water. When his hand touched the iron gate, two beams of blue sparks came out from his hands. His body felt slightly numb. He realized he had been struck by the lightning.
My husband stared at his two hands. He was overwhelmed, and aware that he had been saved, then he ran over to my son and I. He cried out "I was struck by lightning, but I am fine, Master saved me!" He was choked with emotion. I could see black marks on his index fingers and thumbs of both hands. As quickly as the storm came, it left. The dark clouds dispersed and sunshine fell over our entire yard. We burned incense, pressed our hands together in front of our chests and sincerely thanked Master for saving my husband's life.
Later we heard that the lightning caused the damage of several appliances throughout our neighborhood. But, not my husband! How is it that a human body can survive being struck by lightning, with no harm? Didn't this prove that Falun Dafa is supernormal?
Master Rescued Me on the Verge of Death Caused by Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
I took a bath on the evening of November 14, 2012. It was a cold evening, so to keep warm I hung three layers of curtains on the door. Still I was cold, so I lit a charcoal heater in the room with me. Finally the bathroom was warm.
Thirty minutes later I was feeling dizzy. I didn't know it was a symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning. My head was uncomfortable, so I wanted to finish up quickly and get out. Before I could get out of the bathroom, I fainted and lost consciousness.
I am not sure how long I was passed out on the floor. I heard my daughter crying out to me to wake up. I heard her say, "What will I do without you." Then I also heard the voices of my husband and neighbor. They carried me from the bathroom to the bedroom, and laid me on the bed. I sneezed hard three times. My whole body was curled up trying to stay warm. My eyes were still closed, and my teeth were chattering. My head hurt as though it were split open. I shivered from the cold, even with three quilts covering me. I was given a hot water bottle and the temperature in the room was turned up. My son and daughter were both pressing their hands together at their chest, repeating "Falun Dafa is good," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." My husband was pleading for help from Master.
My body temperature slowly recovered, and my mind became clear. I still had a bad headache. I let out a loud groan. My husband said, "Thank you Master, thank you Master." A short time later, my husband asked me to open my eyes. Slowly they opened and then I saw my husband's face, his anxiety changed to relief. My severe headache persisted into the night.
The next morning, after my mother heard what happened to me, she rushed over. My mother wanted me to go to the hospital and have an IV and oxygen. Just a few days before, a woman at my age in the village, lost her life because of carbon monoxide poisoning. My husband and I refused. We believe our great compassionate Master is omnipotent.
By the next afternoon, I was completely back to normal. My family firmly believes in Master, so we got through this tribulation.
I later inquired of my daughter as to why she came in the bathroom when she did. She was on-line surfing and when she does that, she gets addicted and can stay on all day. She said that she remembered that I usually call for her to scrub her back, so she came to check on me. Then she said that when she came in, I was on the floor and that is when she started crying out for me to wake up. I did not respond and she got scared. Then she said she moved me, and I threw up. It was then that my daughter said she wanted to call my husband, but her phone had run out of battery power. My daughter ran to the neighbor and called her dad from there to come home immediately. She told him, "Mom fainted in the bathroom, I am afraid she is dying, hurry home!"
I cried as I listened to her story. Here I was on the verge of death, but Master alerted my daughter so she could save me. It also occurred to me that if I fell down backwards along the wall, my body could have fallen in front of the burning charcoal, and it would have been disastrous. Also at such an important moment, the phone ran out of power, clearly the evil forces wanted to take my life.
Remembering our cultivation experiences over the years, my heart was moved. We have been through several catastrophic disasters, and with Master's protection we have made it through. Without Master and the Fa, we could not have made it.
Words can't express our gratitude to Master. As Dafa disciples, we know we need to be diligent in the remaining time in order to assist Master in Fa-rectification, and save more sentient beings to fulfill our vows. This is our best gratitude to Master.
