The language barrier is no deterrent to an Australian Falun Gong practitioner who has the wish to reach out to Chinese tourists. He made a placard with Chinese text, explaining how he came to practice Falun Gong and how the practice is part of true Chinese culture. Chinese visitors are surprised to see this refreshing message, so different from the party line in China.

Festivalgoers had an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, especially the CCP's state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting crimes.
Over 600 student organizations, including the Falun Dafa Association, set up tents and tables to introduce themselves to incoming freshmen.
Over 500 practitioners paraded through busy streets, including the Divine Land Marching Band, a group of waist drummers, dancers and beautifully costumed “celestial maidens.”
