(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced
Six practitioners were sentenced by the Baoding City Intermediate Court on February 11, 2015. Mr. Dong Hanjie and Ms. Gao Chunlian, were sentenced to five-year prison terms, Mr. Ge Zhijun, to a four-year prison term, Mr. Zhang Haiyang and Ms. Dong Junhong, to three-year prison terms, Mr. Wang Yun, a three-year prison term with five-year probation. Mr. Wang has been released.
2. [Altay City, Xinjiang Province] Mr. Yang Zhenlin Dies as a Result of Persecution
Mr. Yang Zhenlin died as a result of abuse by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Altay City Police Department in the winter of 2010.
3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhou Dongdong Arrested
Mr. Zhou Dongdong was arrested on February 13, 2015.
4. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Geng Yanping Arrested
Ms. Geng Yanping, in her 50s, was arrested by officers from the Daminggong Police Station in Weiyang District, Xian City on February 10, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.
5. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Mr. Yang Xuehong Detained
Mr. Yang Xuehong was arrested on the afternoon of February 11, 2015. The police ransacked her home. She is being held at a detention center.
6. [Boli County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Caiman and Ms. Tang Yuqin Arrested
Ms. Liu Caiman and Ms. Tang Yuqin were arrested by officers from the Qingshan Town Police Station on February 12, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were later taken away by officers from the Linkou Police Department.

Ms. Li Qingyun was arrested on February 12, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Qian'an City Detention Center.

8. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Hua and Three Other Practitioners Sentenced
Ms. Wang Hua, 52, and three other practitioners were arrested by officers including director Wang Yu from the Pingdingshan Town Police Station on December 19, 2013, for distributing table calendars which contained information about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Fushun Detention Center.
The four practitioners were put on trial by the Xinbin County Court on February 6, 2015. Ms. Wang was sentenced to a three-year prison term and the other three practitioners were sentenced to probation.
