(Minghui.org) The wave of lawsuits charging Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese communist regime, with launching the persecution of Falun Gong, took off in China in late May 2015, and has become unstoppable. Over 146,000 Falun Gong practitioners and their families, in China and overseas, had submitted criminal complaints to China's judicial departments by August 13, 2015, according to a recent publication by the Minghui website.
The human notions of some Falun Gong practitioners who had been persecuted emerged after the momentum of the lawsuits accelerated.
I read recently an article from a fellow practitioner, who mentioned that some practitioners want to buy a car or travel if they receive economic compensation once the lawsuit against Jiang is successfully resolved.
Fellow practitioners, what is the objective of our cultivation? Shouldn't we eliminate all attachments? Shouldn't we take everyday people's things lightly? Shouldn't we follow Master to return to our true home?
The lawsuits against Jiang are to end the persecution as soon as possible and awaken more people to the facts about Falun Gong.
We should hold compassion in our hearts for sentient beings, and not pursue personal fame or interest, or harbor sentiments. Why think about personal enjoyment once the criminal complaints are resolved? Such thoughts are contrary to cultivation and saving sentient beings.
Buying a car and traveling are everyday people's pursuits. Can one practice cultivation while in pursuit of such human entertainment?
Master give all his attention to the Fa-rectification. He has born enough for us. Fellow practitioners, please do not deviate from your cultivation path!
