(Minghui.org) My brother and his wife gave me two Falun Dafa books–Zhuan Falun and The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection–in August 1998. From the books, I came to know some of the Dafa principles.
Debunking the Party's Lies
The persecution started soon after I began to practice Dafa. The government-owned media mislead the people about this cultivation practice by fabricating stories. However, I knew in my heart that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and asks its followers to live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
To counter the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda, I told people about the goodness of Dafa. They also witnessed the changes I had undergone after I started practicing Falun Dafa.
Everyone in my work unit had heard that I practiced Dafa, and some people kept asking me about the teachings every day. The Party secretary then caught wind of this and asked me to hand over my Dafa books, which I refused.
One day I gave a DVD with Dafa information to an elderly employee and was reported to the management. The deputy director badmouthed Dafa, so I said, “History will witness who is right and who is wrong!” He lowered his head and had nothing more to say.
The Party secretary asked me if I still practiced Dafa, and I told him how I benefited from doing the practice, that Dafa had spread worldwide, and how Jiang Zemin's (the former Chinese leader's) regime fabricated lies to discredit practitioners. I talked to him for more than two hours and clarified the truth about Dafa to him daily for an hour for the next 10 days.
Not Caving in Under the Persecution
After the onset of the persecution, I repeatedly read Master's article “A Dialogue with Time” and realized that it was a large test for practitioners. I decided that I must become a genuine cultivator and that I would tell people in my work environment about Dafa.
The factory director became afraid after he listened to the propaganda on television, especially since the police repeatedly harassed the management of the factory. They demanded that the sales director no longer allow me to go on business trips. The sales director, however, told them that I was the best person for that kind of job.
I went on a trip to Northeast China. The factory director was terrified because Falun Dafa originated from there and told me not to meet with any practitioners.
There was tight security at the train stations. The police officers checked the passengers' bags. I was able to bypass the checks by taking the train from the Beijing Train Station, then changing at a small station in Shandong Province and a bus station at the Sino-Russian border.
I met the client's manager. The client's company had laid off many employees but kept Falun Dafa practitioners on the payroll.
Benefiting from Respecting Dafa
The factory experienced hard times and employees were put on furlough. The director moved on to another company and took with him some of the key employees. However, he was still against Dafa. As the old factory director failed to bring in business at his new job, he was demoted to production status.
Master said:
“When people show the appropriate respect and reverence toward Dafa as it manifests here in this world, they, their race, or their nation will enjoy blessings or honor. It was Dafa—the Great Way of the universe—that created the cosmic body, the universe, life, and all of creation. Any life that turns away from Dafa is truly corrupt. Any person who can align with Dafa is truly a good person, and will be rewarded and blessed with health and happiness.”(Zhuan Falun)
The new factory director did not harass me and asked me to be a troubleshooter. The factory did well, the furloughed employees were called back and given bonuses.
Our products are sold nationwide, and I continue to be a troubleshooter, give training on operating our equipment, and often go on business trips. I clarify the truth to clients and persuade them to withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations.
Cultivation is serious. I will follow the Dafa principles and walk steadily on the cultivation path. I will treat things rationally, regard myself as a genuine practitioner, and be strict with myself.
