(Minghui.org) When I heard that several Falun Dafa practitioners were selling a certain brand of water faucets to other practitioners, I felt something was not right even though they did not make a profit. I did not speak up about this since I was unclear about the Fa principles regarding this issue.
Someone later mentioned that a few practitioners were selling honey or cosmetics to other practitioners. Then someone pointed out that the practitioners who were promoting or selling products among ourselves were now being persecuted, which made me realize the seriousness of this matter.
Master said,
“Whoever spreads among practitioners things unrelated to the Fa-rectification is interfering with Dafa disciples and damaging the form of Fa-rectification! The sin is bigger than that of demons.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference”)
Master has left an environment for us to elevate through cultivation and to save sentient beings. Our predestined relationships were formed for Dafa and not for doing business amongst ourselves. Although profit was not made, promoting and selling products triggered many human attachments. Our words and actions directly affect other practitioners.
What is the purpose of these practitioners to promote products? Is it for themselves, for others, or to save sentient beings? We know that people will have good futures from knowing the facts about Dafa and the persecution. They will avoid calamities. We don’t meet people to make sure that they have good water faucets.
When we clarify the truth, we tell people, “Please remember Falun Dafa is good and withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. No matter if it is water pollution or smog, it will not affect you.” For practitioners, what is there to be afraid of?
When practitioners buy the products out of attachments, they may run into issues. However, we should be careful not to affect others. For instance, one could shop around for a water purifier alone without impacting the overall cultivation environment.
The form of our cultivation will be left to future generations and gods are watching our every thought and action. We undermine the cultivation environment when we do not do well in the three things, but instead waste time chatting or doing business with one another.
Master said,
“Everything we do today is to lay a foundation for the transmission of Dafa over countless years to come, and to leave a perfect, correct, error-free form of cultivation practice.” (“A Letter to Shijiazhuang[1] Dafa General Assistance Center” from Essentials for Further Advancement)
Cultivation stories passed down from history does not mention practitioners doing business among themselves. How would gods view this? Cultivation is very serious!
Every practitioner's cultivation path is different. We should help one another improve, and our actions should be based on Dafa principles. We should also not let our human attachments interfere with Master's arrangements.
Practitioners should have a clear understanding of the Fa, remind ourselves often of the importance of Fa-rectification and walk well the last legs of our cultivation paths.
