(Minghui.org) One day, when I was imprisoned in a detention center, a young, fashionable woman was brought to my cell.
Rumors said she was a lawyer and a drug addict; but no one knew why she was arrested.
She looked depressed. Her frequent bathroom trips also caught people's attention.
“I've had cancer for a few years. There is blood in my urine and going to the bathroom is painful. Medication doesn't help,” the young woman explained.
She then asked the guard for her medication. When they said they didn't have any for her, she started to cry.
By bedtime, the young woman was still going to the bathroom every few minutes.
My bed was next to the bathroom. On her way by I whispered, “Sister, I want to tell you something; but only if you will believe me.”
“I believe you. What is it?”
“You will get better if you recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ from your heart.”
Without hesitation, she said: “Okay, I will do that,” and she lay down. She did not go to the bathroom again that night.
The young woman woke up the next morning and loudly called out to me: “Sister, what you told me came true. Thank you so much. I haven't had a good nights sleep since I got sick. This is the first time I slept through the night in many years. Falun Dafa is truly powerful.”
Everyone in the cell was happy for her. They all witnessed Dafa’s power. I took the opportunity to tell them about the falsehoods published by the Chinese Communist government about Falun Dafa. They listened to my words and then denounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
When the young woman’s family came to visit, I saw that her brother was a policeman.
“I had a great sleep last night. It’s been many years since I had such a good rest. There is no more blood in my urine. It’s all because of what the Falun Dafa practitioner told – recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' It’s so powerful.” She was so happy talking about Dafa’s miracle, as if being locked up in a detention center did not matter at all.
