Explanations
After the publication of the initial edition of Guiding the Voyage, Teaching the Fa at the Conference in the Midwest-U.S., and Essentials for Further Advancement II, some of Master’s Recent Articles published on the Minghui website were revised on February 1, 2002. In the second edition of the above three books, some words were further changed. Readers please make comparison and corrections depending on which of the three following situations applies. (Please note the revision date of each of Master’s Recent Articles. Corrections are needed only if you downloaded the article before this date. If you downloaded it after the revision date, no change is needed.)

The article “A Brief Statement of Mine” is what Master said to media and everyday people, which does not offer guidance to Dafa disciples’ cultivation. After thinking it over, Master has decided not to include this article in Falun Buddha Fa – Essentials for Further Advancement II.

II. Explanations on Revisions to a Minghui Notice
The third paragraph of the Minghui Editorial "Send Forth Righteous Thoughts" published on May 25, 2001, has been removed. Please download it again. Revision date: May 26, 2001.
III. Explanations on Revisions to Other Articles
Revisions may take place to other types of articles published on the Minghui website from time to time, including correcting misspelled or incorrect words, deletion of an entire article, insertion of a new article, etc. A new articles that has been inserted is generally marked with a “NEW!” symbol. Practitioners who are involved in producing materials, please note to download the latest version of articles.

IV. Explanations on Hand Positions for Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts
After the publication of Master’s “Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference,” disciples inside and outside of China have been asking the following two questions: 1) Whether a male practitioner should use the left palm and a female practitioner the right palm when sending forth the righteous thoughts and holding one palm erect, and whether the palm should be in lotus form; 2) Whether one needs to conjoin the hands or press the palms together in front of the chest at the end of sending forth righteous thoughts. We have replied individually to the inquiries. Because the inquiries are still coming in, with approval from Master, we offer the following standard explanation:
A. Hold the right palm erect, regardless of gender. The palm is held erect in front of the chest, naturally, relaxed. The palm should be help upright naturally without being stiff. In this position one emits supernormal abilities. It is not a position in doing the exercises. Whether the palm is in the shape of a lotus or not is fine.
B. There is no need to conjoin the hands or press the palms together in front of the chest at the end.
C. The Minghui website will soon publish Master’s photo. Everyone please follow what Master has said and done.
