(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners in Freiburg im Breisgau held an Information Day to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 12-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong on July 30, 2011. The practitioners put up displays and banners with stories and pictures of persecution cases. Passersby were drawn to the displays, and asked for further information and materials about the persecution at the booth. After they understood what is happening in China, many of them signed the petition to protest and support the practitioners' efforts to end the persecution.

A Vietnamese couple quietly looked at the pictures of practitioners who had been tortured to death. The husband said that he knew about the persecution of Falun Gong from the Internet. He also knew that the Chinese regime pressured the Vietnamese government to repatriate the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners in Vietnam. He said with anger, “The communist regimes are all terrible. Why persecute such a peaceful group? It’s inhumane!” He suggested that the practitioners should increase the font size of the website address, “Let everyone see it and let everyone learn about the persecution.”
A German lady read through the display carefully. She went to the booth and signed the petition quietly to support the practitioners' efforts. She wanted to learn more about the persecution so a practitioner gave her several flyers and a copy of the German version of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Another German lady asked a practitioner whether he was distributing Chinese propaganda materials. The practitioners told her that it was the opposite and the materials contain information on how the Chinese communist regime persecutes human rights. The lady immediately extended her hand and said, “Then I want them.”
A student from China came with a western friend. They read the displays and discussed the information. A practitioner asked the student whether she had heard about Falun Gong, she replied, “Of course, what I heard in China was all negative information. I got to understand the whole thing after I left China. I am trying to explain it to my friend.” The practitioner asked her whether she had heard about the movement of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The student said that she refused to join the CCP when she was in China but was glad that the practitioner could help her quit the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
