(Minghui.org) I have a mentally disordered nephew that lives in a nursing home. My nephew was kidnapped by a human trafficker around the New Year and assigned to herd sheep. He fell into the frigid water when he was crossing a river, and his hands got frostbitten. He was rescued and taken back to the nursing home.
Both of his bands turned black and swollen. I took him to the hospital. He needed to be admitted, but our local official did not want to spend any money on him, so my nephew was given some medicine and then discharged. A couple of weeks later, he had not improved, and worse, he started to have allergic reactions to the drug. He went to the hospital again, and this time the physician said his hands needed to be amputated.
I did not agree to it and took him to other hospitals. All the physicians said my nephew's only option was amputation. My nephew is mentally disordered and receives very little care at the nursing home. I am too old to take care of him, and he needs his hands. I found some Chinese herbs to put on his hands, but they did not help either.
One day, I thought: I will try to teach him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I only want to give it a try because even though I have regained my health from practicing Falun Dafa and have seen many miracles happen to people who recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” I was reluctant, because my nephew had mental limitations. He cannot communicate well, and people have to guess he wants to say. I was not sure if he could recite the words.
I taught him one word at a time. I stared at him in anticipation after I finished.
He suddenly shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” He said it loud and clear. His hands improved, and he no longer needs to have them amputated.
I thank compassionate Master for saving my nephew's hands!
